  She is returning to bel canto, because she realised that verismo is damaging her voice, because the modern opera schooling teaches singers to push, to strugle, and that ruins her voices. The strong, developed chest vpice, and the lighter chest voice(head vpice) sounds better, conistent and healthy.

  I find it amazing that she sort of knows what’s she’s doing but a lot of it is natural. I’m sure there are people with music degrees who could explain this far more technically and articulate but to her it’s natural to do that.

  It's a NO for me. I LOVE her voice but she over did it on her version of AT LAST. This isn't the version I saw. She put TOO MANY RUNS in it. Sometimes you just can't mess with a classic! This one is definitely better than the one I saw.

  Exactly why I don’t like the majority of newer female artists. There voices are so cute and girly cause they sing through the nose…like Britney. Ugh! Xtina is THE Queen!!

  Also Beyoncé still has to sing it at some point in a studio and we all know Beyoncé could do that live easily. She just said she had no time to practise with the orchestra (how she learnt the arrangement to record the track to it tho… I have no idea… but still)
