Impact Crates are NOT crash tested. Check out their BBB rating. Customer service is the absolute worst. The BBB have been asking Impact to remove the expectation of 3-5 business build time on their website. They refuse. Their crates are pretty, but no idea how safe they really are. I wish I would have purchased crates from Rock Creek Crates from Logan UT. Their crates are crash tested and have a welded frame so they arrive fully assembled.

I ordered my anxiety crate from River Creek dog crates. A 48'' and i got it in 5 days and they really went out of their way to get me this crate because i am a dog trainer as well and had to get it or loose a $3,000.00 job and they did it and they are $300.00 cheaper than Impact crates

We ordered ours and it was here in 1 day. We did have to assemble it which took about 4 hrs.

For the ridiculous prices they charge they should have done better. They really should have offered you a partial refund for all your trouble. I think they feel no sense of urgency to please the customer because they really have no competitors. The only thing close are heavy-duty plastic crates and that's not really equivalent. I wish more companies would make comparable aluminum crates and for half the price or better. I'm currently looking for a 40 inch crate that will fit my Belgian Malinois puppy for the rest of his life but the absolute most I can afford is $300. He does not seem to be the type to chew his way out, as he's in a regular plastic crate now and not trying to chew the holes, but I really like the added security of a metal one just in case he gets impatient if I have to be gone longer than usual.

We had a similar experience. Impact was great, emailed me with shipping notification, not much delay there, but the shipping/freight company is terrible as far as tracking and communication. We could never really track the package and they just showed up out of the blue with the crate. I didn't have room in my garage for it and the guy who delivered it didn't have time to wait for me to make space for it. If you order it, make sure you have room and a plan where to store it until you have time to unbox it. It's a great crate, though!

I ordered one over a month ago and have kind of been dealing with the same issues with them but I scheduled the delivery to my shop so hopefully it shows up on time!

I wish they still made that door! The new door is so much cheaper and you can’t see inside the crate to check on your dog nor can your dog see our 💔 it also no longer comes fully assembled so you have to put it together yourself which is really hard unless you have a large table to assemble it on. Plus you have to use 80 screws and 70 nuts! I hate the new ones and so do my dogs 💔 they also didn’t offer any help when I was so disappointed by the new doors they recommended I sell the crate myself and offered no other help 💔 I spent over $2000 on two of them 💔

The crate is constructed of 100% Aluminum as per the manufacturers specifications.

I went with the “stationary 48” with the opt 2nd door installed and my rottie (Zeemo) and I really liking this crate

Wow, really? I ordered mine January 4 got it today the 23/23. CS was awesome. I ordered the high anxiety 48 inch got an email to confirm order as well to make sure it would fit through my door. Then I had second thoughts if I got the right size and reached out to them through email with pictures of measurements of my dog. They responded the next day and decided the 42 was a better fit. They reached out to let me know they updated the order through email and text even after I decided to go with the white with a special limited time deal they had and updated my order again. So constant communication. Got an email with shipper info and when it shipped that I could check the status on and went to the site to set up a delivery date. I opted in for text message alerts and got an email and texts though out the whole time. Even had the shipping company call me to tell me they’d be there in the morning not afternoon like they had thought. I work full time so I asked them to leave it on my porch. Got a text alert that it was delivered and went on my lunch break to check it out. I unpacked it outside my door and pulled it in myself through my door in 15 min. I was timing it bc I had to hurry back to work. I’m a single mom so I’m used to not having any help, doing everything on my own and not complaining. Lol Over all I had a great experience with CS and had no problems with the shipper. Just wanted to let ppl know of my experience for those considering getting a crate from Impact Crates, that not all reviews are like this one in the vid. The crate came in good condition and looks beautiful! My dog loves his crate!

What do you think of this versus the gunner crate? How easy is this to come apart to fit inside a room?

We ordered a used one locally because of the 4-6 weeks delivery time. And our new German Shephard, Duke (weighs 70 pounds) has broken out and destroyed 2 crates already. Duke has already flipped the impact crate on it's side. So I had to put two 2x4s with seatbelt strap around the crate so as not to flip over again. The photo of me and the dog is Ginger who recently passed away at 14 years old.

@@TheMexicanHomie He didn't chew through the steal. He slams his body weight against the door until it opens. Hasn't been able to open the impact crate however.

Wow he must really hate being confined. Make sure it's big enough and that it has all the original parts sinceits used. They also make one for dogs with anxiety and they are even stronger. Good luck.

What are your thoughts on the crate itself, given you’ve had it for a bit now? I’m considering buying the collapsible Great Dane size and the crate dolly but it’s quite an investment. I want to be able to use it for dog shows so it would really need to hold up well to being transported a lot. How is the paint job, specifically? I know you don’t have the collapsible but I imagine that’s the same for all of them.

Probably so but Gunner is looks and functions nothing like this crate. Gunner is a good quality crate for your hunting dog but that's it. I couldn't find a good size either they are way to small IMO.

The new high anxiety crate by impact dog crates is soo much better.
