Great review. I just ordered an XL Rock Creek today. I adopted a big German shepherd who gets rather anxious when alone in his crate. Made short work of the wire crate we started him on. He will certainly put the Rock Creek to the test.

Brad, glad my review helped. I know I put a bunch of time into my search and feel like I made the right choice. I can’t think of anything that would be better for your pup. Love to hear what you think about yours when you get it!

If it’s not too much of an inconvenience, could you tell me the size of the door opening? They dont make a crate divider and so I will have to make one and fit it through the door 😅

Now that you have had the crate for a few weeks, any updates to your review? Getting a lab pup at the end of May. Like you said in your video, doing a lot of research. The price doesn’t scare me, but if I’m going to spend as much as these cost, want to make sure it’s the best.

Hi Taylor, I am still liking it. My dogs have taken really well to them. They are holding up great and the doors and latches have remained solid and sturdy. I did recently order a couple of primo crate pads to go in them.

Are they very loud? Not very many reviews on these out there. Also curious on the size these are. 38 or 42?

Not to bad. Once you put a crate pad in it is even better. No more or less loud than any other crate.

when you touch the door, you said it is steel?? I thought Rock Creek Crate is made of aluminum!

It’s a metal of some sort. I don’t know what it is. Has held up great though.
