There was one carried out but the turks, a long time ago, it has nothing to do with this situation. What Serj is doing is just saying stuff to his wester audiencenwho doesnt know much about the situation and his armenian audience who is biased and aclully invaded azerbaijan with russians. So its kinda a scummy move if you ask me.He knows most ppl are just gonna jugde this situation on the basis on his music being good and ID sucking balls
Never forget serj supported the current government in armenia ..b the one that lost the fight in large part due to its eagerness to eschew Russia in favor of the west.

First Corey and now serj lol, to me I understand where serj is coming from but then again the band is supposed to your around certain countries to be listened to fans around the world, but then again there are also bands that are from the most dangerous countries too and they're widely recognized or talked about. I mean if they have many reasons to go to that certain country I wouldn't mind it that much, but since serj is Armenian; his politics against that country is big news to his people. Unless the band decides to talk to the people and spread awareness (maybe)? But yes I am glad serj came back to make music again and etc, and I'm sure people will be hungry for another album of theirs in SOAD lol. It's just if they had business or a reason to tour therr and that's their business, but going out of your way to berate them for performing there is kinda harsh tbh, I mean if that was me I kind of wish I could spread awareness of that, and be honoured at the same time of the legendary vocalist 😅.

Love SOAD's music but the more I hear from Serj the less I like him. It's admirable to stand up for a cause and to try and fight the good fight, but it's none of his business where other bands decide to play. Every country has performed horrible violations of human rights, just because it's one that's close to your heart doesn't mean you get to be the moral high ground over other bands. I wonder if he contacts every company that trades with Azerbaijan or if he just keeps his criticisms within the music industry? I don't see him criticising Kanye for performing in Russia though. Does he think depriving fans in a dictatorship of their music will change anything the leaders are doing?
