I didn’t realize Chester had a rough upbringing. I also had a similar upbringing and let me tell you, it fuels your depression, self doubt, imposter syndrome, insecurities, among other things. I am reminded if the quote “Its much easier to build strong children than repair broken men”.

They were so dynamic together, the way their styles aligned was incredible.
I would like to hear a lot more about how Mike's relationship with Chester worked throughout the years, now us knowing that Chester battled deep depression throughout the years. Honestly, not interested in their songwriting/band dynamic, but really more about what it was to deal with somebody like that. Obviously not everybody is comfortable talking too much about this kind of stuff, but would be really educational to listen to what Mike has to say.

I think one of the saddest things about Chester in his passing is the lyrical content of all of his material. It always seems that the most abused and depressed artists produce some of the best material. The most twisted and saddening content, lyrically and emotionally, that we can relate to or understand, is written or performed by equally suffering souls. I just wish we could have helped him.
