Another winner Mr. Zetexy. Your videos are so enjoyable to watch and so well done. I agree with Bruce MacAllan that I would never have dreamed of this being possible in 1978 as a kid playing with my Guns of Navarone playset and imagining different scenarios to play out. My son and I watch these together and not only love it for what it is, but I have opportunities to teach him about WWII, The Eastern Front, Russian landforms, German and Soviet planes, tanks, artillery, what village in the USSR circa 1941 might look like, etc., using your videos as a tool. Kids today have such small attention spans that many times you need more than a book. All that and its just plain fun to watch. Thank you so much for a little escapism in the midst of a stressful world.

Your videos are always so cinematic, I love the multiple layers of the tank skirmish on the ground and the bomber attack in the air.
I can't imagine how many work you have put into this movie, everything fits perfectly. Honestly, this one is the best game-video I've seen on KZread so far. I'm glad that the pilot returned safely to his base. :-D

And once again you create a story which I can't stop watching thru to the end. Amazing work.
Смотрел словно фильм. Даже руки от волнения вспотели. Супер!
It's like a movie. Great editing.
Love your story lines and the work you do. Will definitely donate, really look forward to the videos!!!
You're providing the best combat air simulation experience yet on KZread. I got an Optoma HD projector and the full screen gets it 8 feet across. You are one of the very few who realized that providing full realism from artfully chosen views is the best of the best was to experience the miracle of modern flight simulators. 20 thumbs up, Ace!
Вот смотрю на технику тех времен и вижу какая она красивая эх завидую тем кто когда-то летал на всех тех машинах я бы не отказался на таком полетать
Очень хорошо у тебя получаются ролики! Сделай пожалуйста еще. Спасибо!

Many thanks for posting. I hav to say to all you younger, gamers you really have something we did not when I was a kid. (I'm 49) What we have today as a gaming experience is something we/I could only imagine in our wildest dreams. Now it's the norm, and I play/enjoy it to the full. Where will we be in 20/30 years time people? It's gonna be amazing!! (I think we are going to be sitting in vitrual cockpits, and it's gonna be hard to differentiate between reality and the game)

I've been having these very same thoughts lately. This has already gone way beyond what one could dream when I first got my first flight simulator in a ZX Spectrum. I learned to imagine and appreciate what simulation could give us on those days. And I now enjoy every bit of what new simulators offer us. Good times. And the best is yet to come.

Let’s see there was Lucasarts Secret Weapons of the Luftwaffe , Battle of Britain. Microprose had M1 TankPlatoon... then there were Avalon Hill games. So many ways to spend time. I still build 1/35 armor and 1/48 aircraft. This stuff today though is mind blowing. If I had this when I was a youngster I doubt I would have graduated!

I don't know. I spent hundreds of hours playing GATO and it was just as immersive then as Cold Waters or Silent Hunter is now. Sure, IL-2, DCS, etc are wonderful, but Falcon, Red Baron, etc weren't cat shit either. I hear people are playing pen and paper roleplaying games still...
The most deadly-looking fighter in WW2. Scary sound when 109's 20mm hit the P-40! Beautiful Vid... ;-)
Hi! Looked with pleasure! Thank you! Only had the LA-5 to take a plane.
These episodes are great
I really liked how you filmed this, felt like watching a short movie/documentary
really impressive video clarity.
This makes me want a new gaming PC something fierce. I loved playing this game!
Brilliant vid mate and dare i say the best bos vid iv'e seen yet?

You give meaning to the term content creator. I opted out buying this aircraft with the purchase of the theater however, after watching this I think that was an error. Reaching for the wallet now -- thanks ZETEXY.

P-40 is a "collector plane". It is possible to buy it on the official game site. No need to buy the whole "Battle of Moscow". If you get P-40 you can fly it in any location in multiplayer (if mission author allowed it) and free flight in single player. il2sturmovik.com/store/collector-planes/

@@zxc111yt Roger that. During the recent sale I purchased all the theaters, but only two of them were premium. They were offering the theaters minus the collector aircraft for a further discount and since I was buying them all including the full priced Tank Crew, I decided a P-40 could be axed along with the Italian aircraft. Watching you put your Warhawk thru its paces I realized perhaps I could put her to good use as well, which I did a bit later. Works as advertised.
tough little aircraft great vid
Molto bello...il realismo del villaggio è impressionante..
simply amazing video
well worth watching! thanks for the awesome post.
Благодарю, здорово!
Nice video Zetexy
Can you please make a tutorial about making vídeos with IL2, what tools to use, how to convert the replays for KZread, where are the captured screenshots stored and other necessary files? Your videos are amazing, i love them...Jeep the great work, congrats!!!
Thanks for your informative video, liked&subcribed!!!
dude this video was badass, I don't play the game but like to watch and ive found this among a certain few the most enjoyable . two thumbs up, subscribe and a share,.
The P-40 Kittyhawk was actually not a bad airplane. The P-40 was very agile at low to medium altitudes and did well in a ground support role. The dogfight in this video took place at less than 5,000 feet. And, with experienced pilots that took advantage of the aircraft's strengths and the right tactics it could hold it's own. With the Desert Air Force in North Africa, P-40s had a kill to loss ratio of 2.85 to 1. It was good enough that it forced the Germans to retire the Bf-109E in favor of the Bf-109F model. The Flying Tigers, against the vaunted Japanese pilots and the A6M Zero, after just over 6 months racked up a combat record of 115 kills to just 4 losses in air-to-air combat. It had not the chance to prouve his qualities, except in China. Good engine, high protection, high speed, a very good plane. I love it. What could be the difference between him and the Hurricane ? Give him a Rolls Royce xx23, engine against the Allison, it h should be intreresting

@@gillesguillaumin6603 There was a later series of the Kittyhawk that was actually equipped with the RR Merlin. I think it is within the series' mentioned at the beginning of this video.I believe the US designers used the USSR lend-lease as a bit of a test lab at times..

Steve Hayes so very true, the reasons and history you elucidated are why the P-40 and it’s variants deserve more respect.
Fantastic video!
Great video!. Well done. My father served in the Pacific in World War 2 in the Solomon Islands and he said the Kittyhawk although not that fast, was so strongly built it could take a lot of damage and still manage to return to base.

When using the right tactics, the P-40 E/N was a match for most Japanese fighters.
+1 Zetexy - Simply awesome! I'm late to the IL-2 Great Battles party and just picked up Battle of Kuban on sale and it's great so far. Since then have been trying to decide between adding Moscow or Stalingrad as the scenery seems similar and repetitive (from the gazillions of YT videos I've watched). Always loved the P-40 so may have to go with Moscow. Cheers from Thailand! 👍😁👍

@@Jimbo-in-ThailandI once knocked down 4x Ju88 in game flying that wee fighter, armed with 2x ShVak 20mm. I was impressed. But if you put enough rounds in the glazed crew area, it's not impossible at all, despite the Ju88 being fast and well armed with defensive guns.

great vid thanks for the share
Great editing , Great content , Great entertainment ....
A fighter already rendered obsolete by the ME 109 and the Japanese Zero. But as the flying tigers proved still lethal.
Wow...what a movie!
Buen documental, gracias.
Very well done.
Damn. That was a close-run thing. I like the way you dragged that Nazi over the AF and had the AA guys give him encouragement to leave.

very entertaining! The P-40 escaped after being shot by an 109 but I did not see the damage once it landed
Great watch, great!
Yep great vid!
Makes me think of the 11th Panzer fighting on the Chir, after Stalingrad.
" Impotence and rage might rankle, when my guns would freeze and stall, ' till I learned to ram the Heinkel, slashed his tail and watched him fall. " - Wool of the Russian Ram - Robert Lee Scott.
Lindo!!! Muito bom!!!
The oil on the windscreen but not on the engine cowling looks quite silly... Well done 777, lol
Muito bom esse jogo, melhorou muito em relação às primeiras edições, mais ainda faltam as pessoas nas bases para ficar excelente, ainda está muito mecânico!
Wow!!!! Just, wow!!!
Great mission and good strategy to RTB that's more realistic, compared to other gamers.
the outro makes me wanna cry i dont know why
EXCELENTE EXCELENTE

Exemplary movie. Well done.
I know it well that it was all written and staged but still it was breath taking. Nice job!
Genial!!
Captain "Wild" Bill Kelso is proud of you :D
This looks much better than even DCS World for WW2 planes. It even has better effects and sounds.
a beautiful video.........great 3rd person editing..................the Russian knew how to fight the P-40.................she was combat effective at low altitudes.................
The best thing about Il-2: Battle of Moscow and Battle of Stalingrad, is that you can drive tanks and engage enemy airfields and positions.. drive with your squad in a forest and execute carefully planned missions.. ah, 1C is a wonderful company I'll tell you that!
The Dx11 patch made this game so worth to get.
Nice clip.
Hard not to love a P-40. Something about it.
Great graphics. You must have a nice system.
I can't wait until the P-39 comes.
