IH Farmall 300 pulling a bushog
A 1950's vintage IH Farmall 300 we have had in the family for 60 years. Hooked up to an old trailer type bushog. Tractor is in the 35-40 hp range.

Just liked & subscribed. We have several tractors. We have a 300 utility. a 350 row crop. Ours have the fast hitch. The 350 also has live PTO. We just sold the rear portion of a 350 to Andrew from Plane View Farms. He has a row crop 300 and intends to use the 350 componets to convert his 300 to a fast hitch- live PTO and TA.

This 300 has live PTO and ta. I did not know that IH offered two PTO options? My jd60 could be bought either way. I much prefer keeping the machinery in motion rather than having it stop every time the tractor stops moving. Perhaps safer without the live pto? I know a few fellas that have tangled themselves up in their machinery. Never a good outcome.
I am presently fixing up a 1955 Farmall 300.

That is a good thing. They are prettY good tractors. Hard to wear them out if they are maintained. The engine in my tractor has never had major issues.
