Update: If you can't make a video by the July 2nd deadline, then you can still register with an old video or no video at all. The entry week is called Week #0 and does not count for scoring. The only penalty for registering without a video is that you will not win any prizes for Week #0. Starting with Week #1, all videos must be new (recorded during the week), and you will take a letter if you don't submit a video. But like I said, even if you get all your letters, you can still participate. It's fun! I hope to see you there!

If you want to give it a try, then you can actually register for IGOW Season 3 without a video. You won't win any prizes for the first week, but you can register. In later weeks, you will take a letter if you don't submit a video, but you can participate when your gear arrives. :-)

Is a whoop frame required to participate? My whoop frame has been broken , and I’ve transferred the parts into a freestyle frame. 😅

The official rules are listed in one of the pages that I linked in the description. I believe a whoop frame is required to compete for prizes and season standing. However, I believe you are allowed to submit videos from some other kind of drone. It just won't "count" in the official thing. It is the game of "whoop" after all.

Just curious where and when the first winner was announced.

I started by replying to his comment. That's the easiest way for me, if it works. It did. He contacted me once but then never returned my emails after that. Bummer for him. Lucky for others.

Can I upload the entry videos as unlisted instead of public?

Yeah, I don't think there is any rule about sharing it publicly. In fact, you don't have to share it on KZread at all. I think Dan prefers for people up loading the video clips because that makes it easier for him to run the livestreams. Full instructions should be provided in the links that I provided.

I signed up last week but didn't submit a video. It said something like you can skip the entry video but you just won't be eligible for week one prizes or something like that. Is that the only penalty?

That is correct. You can sign up without a video. You just won't be able to win prizes without a video.

What is with not have any subscription to any other youtubers ? 😕 sorry just looking at this and there is a lot... that want people to subscript but not to anyone else not cool or is it just me . Don't take my word look at people you have subscripts to, and see if they have subscripts to you ?
