If you like the Drop Shot or Ned Rig - WATCH THIS

Спорт

In this video I explain how I combined both the Drop Shot and Ned Rig in this new bass fishing technique that I call the Double Shot. I also talk about the rod, reel, line, retrievals and even demonstrate how to tie the drop shot knot. Luckily, I caught a fish and missed a decent one in a highly pressured southern California public park lake.
I've been using this fishing rig for many years now. It was inspired by the double dropper loop rig that is commonly used for rock fishing in saltwater. I simply just try to be different and try new tactics to catch largemouth bass.

I agree about how great it is to share tips and tackle with new fishermen, both young and old. Last summer I was loading my kayak at the end of the day and spoke into 2 dads who had 4 kids out fishing but they didn't have much luck. I gave one dad a handful of walleye spinner rigs , explaining how they almost always work on that lake. Before I knew it he had all 4 kids lined up to shake my hand and thank me for the tackle!! I definitely got way more back that day than I'd given away!

When u get a bite, how do u know if it's the DS or the jig, which are 2 completely different hook-sets? Also, the whole point of a DS is it's a finesse presentation with a thin weight that comes through bottom vegetation and structure, much better or easier than a jig. I'll stick with 1 rod DS and another Jig and let the fish tell me what they want more.

No lie brotha! When I’m in a rush, I get this unnecessary pressure and start to rush things, make poor decisions and backlash lol

A double “Dropshot” is great for live bait fisherman. Pan fisherman. What are you finessing out there ? Your fishing where some big boys are. Your fishing to not get skunked but your damn well not fishing for giants. Best wishes for mass fishes

I totally agree with you, even as harsh as it sounds, it’s reality. This technique definitely fits into the “catch a bunch” category and not geared towards specifically targeting biggins. I just wanted to showcase a technique rather than target a big one for this video and it’s the closest pond near me 😅

Really? What country do you live in brotha? It’s crazy that you cannot cast two profiles but can throw a jerkbait with multiple trebles.
