C.A. and Salt Strong are the only two I watch regularly! ...So much good insight and I would not be doing that well in the salt without them!!

Cool to see you using the drop shot. It can also work great with nose hooking paddletails. A fun way to fish it is putting a nedrig at the bottom rather than a weight. For instance like a white 3 inch slimswimz nose hooked several inches above a TRD like "The Deal" color.

Like your style and clarity. I was wondering about a drop shot with a soft swim bait in the salt and happy to see you address the issue. I used it a few times with live pilchards in the past.

This rig looks very effective. Just got back from Louisiana and fished with Captain Chad Dufrene in Delacroix for redfish. Thanks for recommending Captain Chad to my dad. He was a very professional and knowledgeable fishing guide. Keep up the great work with the videos!

before I even knew that I had a bite. Being a smallmouth chaser for over 40 years, I quickly rigged a drop shot and it than was a even game after that. Thanks CA, even though I’m back in Indiana your show is one of my favorites.

Drop shot rigs catch more big bass than just about anything if they have been exposed to high pressure fishing. Top 3 easy for smallmouth. Using it here in the keys with soft lures (not live bait) seems natural. Knocker rigs don't allow working the lure, dropshot rigs do.

put a shrimp on there. this would kill for sure!

Put a mushroom head and ur favorite trd or finesse shadz on the bottom of that baby instead of the weight and u got double trouble you won’t regret it mr ca I promise you

So why not just do a high , low rig ? If you use two hooks with your baits you double your chances of a hit 🤔

Dave schemer he is talking and doing the video specifically about the freshwater bass fishing rig called the drop shot and how effective it is for redfish in saltwater. Not a high and low with 2 hooks or whatever, but the effectiveness of the drop shot for REDFISH IN THE SALTWATER....
