How would you describe the pairing with those Kef LS speakers for music listening? Is this crazy overkill or would it make a good choice with LS in a living room?

For the LS50's, I think the 10" version, like we have, would be great. It was a little much for the smaller LSX speakers though. Of course it sounded better with the LSX's than not having the sub, but I would probably pair the 8" and do some small adjustments to really match up the audio. I guess it all depends on what type of music you listen to as well and how much you appreciate quality audio. Hope that helps!

good morning i would like to buy a subwoofer and i am undecided on which model to choose. i have identified the following models svs sb4000 and jl audio 112. I would use it mainly for cinema, which one would you recommend?

I would do the JL Audio E112. 1500 watts of power RMS. I believe the JL Audio subs do so well for cinema. The do not disappoint in the big action scenes. Depending on the size of room though, you might want to do multiple subs for better coverage too.

Yes, I have one in a 14 x 18 room and can vibrate the theater seats. Overpriced, but sounds nice if you can afford

Can’t buy these in the uk what a shame 😳

Dont get me wrong, i love my way overpriced E112, but "serious" bass? Only until Sundown breaks out of auto market and into home line like JL
