I.PORT.PRO.COST
Lmao AI say weather can't compute while I'm staring at weather nation. AI biggest joke ever.
Which model is this mount?
How do they sound? Where can I see phase 2?
We do need to show the wall since it was sheet rocked, taped and mudded. Those guys did a great job. We still need to get that wall painted though! Lol
so this wont run an "activity" per se, if i would want it to urn on my processor, kaleidescape, and jvc projector at once, it cant do that? This is something i do with roomie remote on the ipad now.
How does it attach to the wall
Do you prefer JL in-wall, James in-wall or James Powerpipe if someone is looking for a concealed subwoofer? They all seem great but wondering which is the best!
Well, that's a tough one! The JL has to be either new construction or in the process of a remodel since it's such a huge enclosure. The power-pipe sub is used a lot to conceal in a cabinet or we'll install it in the ceiling to look like a regular in-ceiling speaker or air vent. They all perform really well and there is no disappointment from any. I guess it really comes down to the situation and budget.
Do the JL in wall subs end up sending noise/vibration to other parts of the house, even if a small amount? They look great and I'm considering these, but I can't bring myself to believe they'd truly isolate noise just to the room they're in better than something like a James Powerport or traditional box sub. What is your experience?
Love your James videos. Do you know how the 63SA-7 differs from the 63SAS-7HO?
Do you know why the speaker edge is inverted?
How much?
Please tell me where can I find the model number of the camera that is already installed? Installer didn't leave the box with me and the analogues not showing model number on DVR system
You will probably have to un-install it to get the model number. It's typically on the backside.
Thanks for showing this. It's too bad they elected to keep it out of the hands of Caseta owners. For others, note that while the presenter touches the lightbar itself, the entire switch (the whole rocker) is actually touch-sensitive, and touch works even if not directly on the lightbar.
Do I need to have both or and I just use the strato c player?
You would need both. One is the player and one is the hard drive.
You are a great professional in your field!! I'm so glad i ran into your presentation! My electrician for a new construction has given me the job of low voltage, and you hit everything! 💪💪 Thank you 🙏
That's awesome! Let us know if you have any other questions.
maybe its 10 band para eq can fix your microphone you got there:)
No thanks
Brutal video. Nothing here is about set up, just a bunch of dudes jerking off to their wall mounting skill.
Bhai Hikvision cc camera installed in my shop. Now if there is no current, if the main line (shop) is off, will it be recorded?
If the cameras are POE back to the NVR and the NVR has no power, then your cameras will not record. If you have a single powered camera that's a plug in and it has a SD card, then it would recored as long as the outlet it was plugged into had power.
Hell yeah only $3000 💀
Thanks for speeding up the installation part
Could you use these at traditional lcrs since the tweeter is so big
Cat 6 or cat6a? HDMI over Cat? Or what?
We run both. We'll run CAT6 and Cat6a to each TV location.
Great video. I like your floors. Your videos introduced me to DMF and convinced me to put them in my man cave.
Thank you! Thats awesome. You won’t be disappointed. We just recently added more DMF in our showroom as well. Videos coming soon on that!
Hello, I saw the cutout size for KEF is 7.71 inches, my ceiling has prepared speaker hole which is 8 inches, will that fit? I saw you replaced the old speaker without problem, are they the exact same speaker hole size? Thanks.
If your hole is exactly 8" and the speaker cutout is 7.71, you may have to go with a bigger speaker or double check the overall dimensions to make sure it will cover the hole and have enough sheetrock for the dog ears on the speaker to clamp onto.
@greatchoiceaudio .. does the speaker supports bluetooth
I can see this going the way of the Juicero very quickly. No IR learning, no macros and your 5 year old Samsung galaxy can run the same software without paying $1299
how does this compare to the SVS PB2000 pro?
which speakers should i use as frontspeakers? any advises?
Did that wall mount come with the brackets that go on the tv. Where did u order it from and whats the part number
Hope u respond with part number of wall mount and where u bought it from thx
So if you use Sonos Arc with a Samsung Frame, the Samsung tv speakers do not work with the Sonos Arc correct?
Correct. It's either or. You wouldn't want the TV speakers to work if you have the Sonos ARC connected to it.
What LED do you use for the ceiling lights? How’s that installed ?
That is Aispire Lighting. We are using a dual flush mount track with dual LED tape light that's diffused. The tracks come in 8' lengths and have perfect 90 degree corners to make a clean install.
Very interesting choice using dual centre channels as left and right mains...
Where’s the box
Can i connect the Port straight to active speakers?
I think the P2 is probably the best TT under$1000
It's really hard to beat for sure!
I only have 8 inch but same model
They are pretty impressive aren't they?
JL speaker hand down you can keep the sonance
Arc manual states position 4-5 inches below TV so upward firing works correctly.
something affordable please?
You know a speaker is going to be awesome when you need a drone to film it!
lol. I figured it was worth a try. It is super long though! lol
Thank you for this explanation!
What’s a good placement for the sub
Well, there are many ways to test placement in a room. It depends if it's a in-wall subwoofer or a box style subwoofer. It also depends on how big the room is. We typically try to put more than one subwoofer in every room. Some rooms require even more. Some subwoofers have room calibrations built directly into there amp or enclosure. If your only using one sub, you could place it closer to a corner of the room to allow it to disperse a bit more, but sometimes that can cause it to be too boomy. If only using one sub, you could also use a long RCA cable and try several positions in the room to get the bass response you are looking for. Hope that helps! Good luck!
This is amazing. Thanks!
Thank you!!
I was wondering how to do it. above my mantle I have a chase which runs down to a cabinet on the side of the fireplace. I have the box on the TV. But then I have to run a cable from the sound bar up and through the chase to the box. I was toying with wireless connection but I already have issues with sound being off from the video. I'm afraid wireless would just make that worse. I didn't want the cord dangling down. Did you run the sound bar cord behind the wall to the top of the mantle?? I didn't see any openings. I am wired for surround sound but didn't want it. I had it in my other house running to several rooms. But we didn't use it that much. Great install.
We have an in-wall enclosure behind the TV to allow power and the One Connect box to live. We did a small hole behind the soundbar mount and ran power and cables straight up to the enclosure. Nothing is wireless in the setup besides the Sonos Arc connecting to the internet.
Can’t buy these in the uk what a shame 😳
