I solved it in 10 sec

The provided function would be equivalent to -5 or 3 if you were to calculate it, as 2^2-4(1)(-15)=4-4(-15)=64. Then you either add or subtract 8 from 2 to get either -10 or 6, before dividing it by 2. Leading to the solutions -5 and 3

And regarding the thumbnail, y/2x=-sqrt(456)/18x^2, first you simplify the sqrt(456) to 2sqrt(114), and then multiply both sides by 2x to get y=2x(-2sqrt(114))/18x^2, and then transfer that to get y=-2sqrt(114)/9x. You would use a similar process to solve for x, multiply both sides by 18x^2 to get 18x^2y/2x=-2sqrt(114), solve to get 9xy=-2sqrt(114), then divide both sides to get x=-2sqrt(114)/9y. For xy, (which caused me to add this when people gave answers for xy as real numbers, EVEN THOUGH X HAS DOMAIN -INFINITY->INFINITY). Ignoring that though, xy simply equals(in terms of x (-2sqrt(114)/9x)(-2sqrt(114)/9(-2sqrt(114)/9x), which when you work out = 23104x^2/729 if I didn't make any mistakes.

Everything about the quadratic equation section was brilliant. The dad had only one answer to the equation meaning that everything under the square root was zero. I want to believe that he solved it so easily that he wanted to mess with his son by reconstructing the cookie and pretending that's how he got the answer.

Btw the answer to first question is x = -5 & x = 3 (the quadratic equation on the cookie , you can also write it in a form of equation by using -b+√b^2-4×a×c / 2×a and -b-√b^2-4×a×c / 2×a , here b is the cofficient of x , a is the cofficient of x^2 and c is a constant it has no variablesb) before anyone ask yes I am a black Asian
