Fun fact. I was so obsessed about finding the “perfect-method” that I began to understand more and more the language just because I surrounded myself with tons of “learn-english contents”.

12:36 I almost had a heart attack! haha. Nice video, you've said a lot of true. I can tell that I did the biggest mistake watching a lot of content teaching how to learn instead of actually learn the language. Learners needs to live the language rather than just think about it.

These are really unique tips. I am definitely guilty of watching endless videos on "how to learn the languages" but I quickly learned that I was wasting my time and it was best to just start where I was , with what I had. Thank you for this video and I am truly happy I found your channel.

I also adore listening to music! I feel like lyrics in a foreign language really sticks into my head more than my native language. sometimes I'm in language class and a word or a phrase will trigger my memory to the same phrase or word in a song I've listened to and suddenly it all makes sense!

That’s funny, I was just thinking about this and what would I do differently. I think people binge watch videos on tips how to learn a foreign language because they want to find a fit when they are struggling or gain something. I also want to learn Czech out of curiosity because I recently rediscovered Paulina Porzikova, as a child I remembered her face very well from Estée Lauder then she moved on. The thing is realistically thinking there needs to be more for me to learn Czech to make it sustainable. I personally have no tips on how to learn a language other than practicing as much as possible and remember your why like Bald and Bankrupt said in a video.

As a music learner, I have always been told that the best way to learn my instruments was to play a bit every day. So I apply this to my English learning journey and this is the best way for me but as you said everyone has its own way to learn :) Tell me If there are mistakes

As I've grown as a person and as a learner I definitely noticed the value of breaks and times when you don't do anything towards your goal and just allow yourself to be. It took me a while to get to this place and I used to be the person who wanted to work towards their goal every single day no matter what. But there are soooooo many ways of learning and I would never say that you shouldn't learn every day if that's something that you absolutely love! Trusting yourself and knowing yourself is key, and everything else will go from there ❤

I disagree on listening. I think that immersing yourself in a bunch of audio that you don’t understand is just going to be a waste of time. Especially if it’s just in the background. I’m sure you could pick up a little bit of vocabulary or grammar, but unless the language has a lot of overlap with your first language or another language you already know, you’d probably be better off learning the basic grammar and vocabulary first, and maybe doing some simple reading and writing activities. Immersion is awesome, but I think you need to get a framework first so that you can really take advantage of it. I think that trying ways to make language learning fun as well is definitely crucial, though. For me, I actually usually just find my fun in realizing that I understand more or am able to speak better.

I noticed that, too! haha I'm okay, I guess I was just super excited about the fact that I have everything I've ever used to learn a language in my old room (where I first started my old channel!) and that I can show you some of the things I actually used. I'm super sentimental and old memories always make me extremely happy, so I guess that's why I was so hyper ❤ Thank you for asking, though, you're so sweet!
