    Sorry to mention it here, wanted to mention on the cooking video: so glad to see “normal life and activities” as a relief to other news. We love what your family does: outdoor activities, harvesting resources, cooking, etc. Keep it going!

    I agree, it’s nice to get out with family and friends and not have to worry about all the negativity or challenges in the world.

    I'd like a royalty check please! 😂😂 I'm the blue truck in the background. I couldn't figure out why the trooper left you guys, came and checked me and then went back to you. Now I know!😊😊Don't feel bad about not catching fish! I couldn't catch them that day either!!! When i left, i went down the lake from you a bit. When I jumped out of the truck my feet shot out from under me and i kissed the ice HARD!!! If you heard a loud crack, that was my head!!! 😖😖😪😪 Love your channel! Keep those kids involved!!!

    Thanks for commenting and sorry to hear about your head. It was slick that day. Getting the family out together all day is a real win 👍. I’m determined to go back and catch some fish there sometime though.

    Looking out on the Landscape of Alaska, I am so in awe God's Creation. You cannot help but Thank God for all he has given us. And Thank God for the Hamm Family. Spring is on the Horizon but boy, it is so good to reap the last look of the white of Winter. All seasons are blessings and challenges, even on tough fishing days. The Kids had a great time, and learned about surviving Winter. Doesn't look so bad when you tag along with the Alaskan Boys. Glad you were able to retrieve your Fishing License. When's the last time they checked? How often does that happen? Awesome time , loved every minute

    I’ve probably had my license checked 6-7 times over my life. They usually focus on the areas close to the road system where most people are and not in the more remote areas.

    I get so flustered when the F&W come around, even though I have everything needed and I'm legal, I always get nervous! I don't know why that is, maybe it's just respect for the badge! 🌼

    One thing I have always loved up here is how a cloudly winter birdseye view looks like a pencil drawing. Flying way up north where there are tons of very old very windy rivers is amazing beautiful.

    Did you see how crazy thick it was, I think Godzilla could’ve walked on this ice without falling through. It was the deepest I’ve ever drilled through. Around 38” -40” thick.

    Really beautiful scenery!! How much fish do u typically catch on excursion like this? Do u clean and gut in right away or is that done later?

  • @AlaskaBoys

    @AlaskaBoys

    2 жыл бұрын

    It all depends, some trips we catch fish all day long, but others none at all. That’s why they call it fishing? Usually when salmon fishing we gut them at the fishing spot and fillet them at home.
