For those asking: I am using Copart GO, the reserve process is not like a regular auction. They set the reserve at the buy it now price, and I can't change that. It will continue saying "reserve not met" until the auction ends. I will have to call my Copart agent and tell them to let the car go when the auction ends. As I said in the video, anything over $500 it will 100% sell to the highest bidder.

It's up to $1300 as on now. Nice job, Randy, I bet it ends up selling for more. That's one heck of a nice Navigator, especially for the mileage and the fact that it has been in a prior accident. The underside of that thing was mint. I bet it lived it's entire life in a garage. I hope it goes to a good home and that you do well on it.

The check suspension light and the suspension being off is probably because the air suspension has been replaced with springs. Pretty common on Navigators and Expeditions. There is a wire that you can jump to stop that from happening.

That's exactly what happened. Very common and cheaper to fix.

I did that on my old 06 navigator, turned the air suspension off and installed springs all around, it fixed my cold weather suspension issues, just had to clear the warning on the dash every time I started it. Never did get around to cutting the wire, got in an accident and wrote it off.

I'm only 5 minutes in, and I'm having a great feeling this is gonna be a good old girl that was immaculately taken care of by the previous owner, that put on a ton of Hwy miles. I wish I could afford, her.
Good score. They replaced the bags with springs and the noise was 4x4 on a dry surface. Might need to grease the bearings.

Not every car bro lol. But I get your point. Maintenance goes far in the automotive realm
Ford really underrated those engines, the 4v 5.4 made closer to 340hp
I have that same Lincoln but it’s white, and it runs great! Hope that Lincoln does good for you!
G'day mate, that lifter is for Mobility Scooters based upon it's lifting capacity. Wheelchair lifters look pretty much the same but have a lower capacity. The one that you have is called a Heavy Duty Curb-Sider and people also mount them on the bed of their truck. I believe these are worth thousands.
Randy wanted to say thanks for the Auto VHR link. Made purchasing my 07 Toyota Sienna a no brainer process. Over 60 service records. True 3 owner van. Love seeing the cheap cars, btw
That's a score, specifically on this market prices, good luck with it, and please keep it for a work truck, you can tow with it really fine.
what a machine Randy, great score!!! I would drive it all the time
Cool Randy I think you got a great deal if someone can afford to keep her on the road ⛽️ × 10 . Pass everything but a gas station ,luxury though & super clean congrats 💯🤘
Giving back to the AAR Community is pretty cool buddy. She's a great FULL SIZE suv for sure. Will make someone a great daily driver. Much respect my friend! See ya soon in the next one! 🚙🚙🚙
Some vehicles at Copart are trade in at dealership. I traded a 2002 for a newer vehicle and the salesman told me cars that are older go to Copart. Congratulations Randy on the Navigator. Nice.
Beautiful Lincoln for the price! You definitely scored Randy! Great shape for the year!
I've owned three Navigators in the past and the only issue I've had on one of those was rust underneath and that's because I live in Ontario where salt is used on the roads in winter. Always found them reliable.
Love the videos Randy can't wait to see the next one 🕜🕜😹
I love those old Navigators. What a SCORE!!! Also, I miss seeing these regular Copart Pick Ups.!💯👊🏾
With that kind of miles and the lift in the back you can assume it was maintained very good. It wont have that kind of miles in this great shape with crappy maintenance. Good score!
You can sell the wheel chair lift separately for like $1,300 or so
seeing you pull up the Carfax on that Lincoln pushed me to pull the Carfax on my recently purchased Buick Lucerne, and it turns out I'm technically the second Private owner of it, and it was also RELIGIOUSLY serviced at a Buick Dealer by the first owner!
Nice SUV Randy, despite its horrible gas millage. I didn't know that you don't need to turn off your vehicule while fueling it. In muy country you have to turn it off, and also we have workers operating the pumps. Keep doing these kind of videos, love from Argentina!
We have Christian Brothers here in Houston too, I didn't know they did quality work. Maybe next time I need a major repair I'll check them out. Thanks for letting me know.
Dang good score Randy! Those things drive & ride like a dream.
I'm a wholesaler, I learn a lot from your channel. Thanks man.
That’s a big time score. That’s a very good engine. Those lifts are very expensive. Donate that to a needy family if you don’t keep it. Reset that fuel gauge it get a lot better then that for fuel mileage. It was setting and idling to get the fuel mileage that low. I put a bid in. I’ll come back towards the end and see where it’s at
I owned a 2005 Toyota Avalon Limited. I bought it for $1200 with 313k on the original engine and trans. I put another 20k on it and it gave me zero issues besides needing a starter replacement. One tank of a car
That’s awesome bro I’m just watching your video now Randy I love that Toyota pick up behind you. You take after my own heart hell yeah I know you had Toyotas back in the day but that is an awesome looking truck brother. Good luck with it
Awesome video Randy love the Lincoln
You're a hell of a good guy bud I enjoy watching your videos
The flex of filling a car full of gas before selling it.... Im kidding. Love these type of vids! Keep up the great work! Don't forget to smile 🙂

Not a bad buy Randy. Wish I had money to purchase her from you sir. God bless you and your family bro keep the video's coming!
The wow moment....that Navigator will really serve you to a new milestone....age is just a number...a new chapter begins...
Over spent? No way Randy that's a good dea! $2,500 or more in my area gets you a beat up old civic that needs $2,500 worth of work for inspection in my state
I love it when the transmission goes out. Been there done it.
Gonna buy it now. I wish. Great video Randy!
When you were about to fire it up for the first time, I was fully expecting it to be a V7!!! A gal I knew had an identical one with half the miles, and a valve so burnt that the cylinder had almost zero compression. Got it sold, and bought her a 60K Camry that was a voluntary repo, getting 4X the gas mileage, and didn't require service half the times it was started!!
We have that motor here in Australia, was in our XR8 sport sedans. Also a higher output in the Ford Performance Vehicles GT Falcon, 290kw. Heavy but a solid motor.
Boy she is nice! The 4 valve is a excellent motor. It's ashame they didn't put it in the 03-06 Expo and a lot of other vehicles I think the noise could be a rear differential or bearing. That is a scooter lift, they are actually worth some money... I don't think wheel chair lifts have that high of a weight capacity. Honestly, down here where I am, that would go for like 4k atleast because of demands of SUVs. They came with a self leveling suspension in the rear so it just levels out when it detects a sag in the rear, not a full on air suspension. Regardless, amazing vehicles, God bless! Edit: they can actually tow, rated at 8,300-8,600 pounds. They have a decent amount of torque for how old it is! 365 lb-ft.
Hi Randy, the Navigator is beautiful. looks like you got a good deal. good luck with it 👍
Randy keep up the good work

Hey Randy remember you switched it to awd when you first go into the car so that could be the reason why it was making a weird noise then whenyou put it back in 2wd it was fine 🤷🏿♂️
You won on the Lincoln, congrats 👏🎉❤️
Randy those Bruno Wheelchair / Scooter lifts alone are worth the $1500 bucks ! They are great you can put them in a pickup and use it for your wheel chair or even to lift heavy items into the bed ! Or back of your truck ! I know someone who had one installed new and they are like $4000 installed !
I have a 2004 with 145K miles and my father upgraded the suspension to coil and it also has the CHECK SUSPENSION light, I get 12.5 mpg on the city
Love my 2003 5.4 intec Navi. Same bue print was used in the Ford GT.
I hope it just needs a speed censor for the traction control. That would make is a really fantastic score. You did really well, congrats.
Awesome buy Randy, you hit a homerun...:)
I want one now! Great video!
Those Navigators are fantastic vehicles. Given its overall condition someone clearly took care of it. They are very capable machines and can tow just fine. Turn the suspension off it’s been converted to springs. I’d love to find one as clean as that one for $1500 bucks…it will be a fantastic machine for someone.
You could sell it to TK. With the wheelchair lift, he could fix it up, and may know of a disabled Vet who could make good use of it.
To be honest $1500 it’s really good deal with that color on black leather and the car it’s 4by4 and new tires and the handicap kit the car is steel and the car been converted to new shocks than airbag’s the truck has been cared for and this car worth$3500 easy . Randy you scored on this car .
randy, I think it's a good buy for a 2003 with 325,000 miles. I would have bidded on it, in the city people use there autos more than anywhere else, i say good buy, but the gasoline prices are going to get ya. lol I agree it was a rare find but that traction light might be the in the way of it being a great deal. good job! have a Blessed day my friend.
Caught a glimpse of the oil change sticker, they were using synthetic. These people kept that truck in good shape, especially considering the mileage
The lift is for a handicap scooter! It hooks up to the scooter lifts it up and swings into the back!
My family and I sat in the IAA parking lot last weekend waiting for the storm to pass so we could make it home. I-35 was flooded under all the underpasses and only about 25 feet visibility in the rain!
Randy, check out the steering controls. My 03 Silverado has a lot of those kind of controls on there.
That's a great find . should be real easy to flip for profit... enjoyed the video 👍👍👍👍
The navigators were always awesome cars an my parents had a 03 an it had about 356.000miles till the transfer case exploded but we replaced it an she still ran well but dad gave it away a family that were down on there luck
Good video keep up the good work bud 😊😊 up
I’ve always had a thing for navigators, cool car
tracksion control could be a wheel senser or there might be a switch on the dash labled ESP

With that air suspension id say look under it and see if its been converted to a coil overs awesome deal n vary clean for being over 300k
Love these type of content 🇯🇲🇯🇲🇯🇲🇯🇲👌
I would love to own a Lincoln Navigator again. Right now I drive a 2014 Jeep Cherokee latitude. I get 32 miles to gallon on the highway with my life Jeep Latitude.
cars dont last 300k+ miles without real good maintenance.
Classic Randy, gotta love it.
Damn good deal, I'd buy it all day long! Nice job🤜🏻🤛🏼 Gas milage is about average for a full size suv👍🏻
YOU GOT A GREAT DEAL
Congrats on the score.
Nice buy on the Navigator!
I missed this one. I know I'm late to the party but great score. I got a 05 aviator from copart with 195,000 on it that my daughter drives as her daily. They're great though SUV's
I think you scored on this one Randy . Great buy
Great vid!!!
finally some good old time action
from the looks of the trans pan its got that big 4R100
Hey Randy had the same noise in my 04 expedition when I put it in the shop it was the gears in the rear end going bad! Only did it when starting from A stop and making A turn!

I had the same issue as you in an F150. This is 100% not the same issue. It's not coming from the rear, and it doesn't do it when I turn. Now it doesn't do it at all.

@@AutoAuctionRebuilds the front hubs sometimes make a liitle noise when the vacuum bleeds off the hubs it probly needs the little solenoid for the 4x4 on the fire wall.
The noise is probably the injector pump. The 4 valve 5.4 is a great engine.
@infidel3162
2 жыл бұрын
5.4 doesnt have a injector pump
you got a good deal, the rear end could just be a bad bearing. but nice truck, i like it. but yes it would tow just fine
That truck will tow anything you have. Should tie 5000 lbs no problem. I used to tow a CNG trailer that weighed 6000 lbs with an 99 F 150 with a 4.6 and drive it all over Florida. That truck had 220000 when I got it. The only problem was I went through 2 right side real axle bearings. It was a great truck. Transmission never had the fluid changed.
randy i think you might need a few hazard awareness classes when you can see big trucks having to swing out wide to get around corners and coming out of junctions to slow down and give them plenty of room
Have a 02 Nissan Pathfinder with 386,000 and drove her to Branson from Memphis and back no problem..point don’t let the miles scare w if it’s properly maintained
I love that ride its so cool shame we don't have them in the UK
Wish you were closer to NY I would be very interested in this truck !!!!
I have a 99 navigator that I tow a 30ft rv. It does just fine. It hasn't let me down yet.
Wow, what a great find! Esp. because it has the black leather interior: most had the cream/beige which by now is dirty and doesn't look clean (unless someone cleaned them religiously, most were not-- these were family and toy haulers, work SUVs). To answer your questions: The "Check Suspension" warning is due to the air suspension having been replaced with traditional coilovers (which you showed the fronts in your video), common mod when the air suspension goes - just hit Reset every time you start the car to clear it. Permanent disabling of it costs like $450! for an aftermarket module from Strut Masters, not really worth it on a car this old and cheap. 8300 lbs is the tow capacity for the 4WD (2WD is 8600). I use mine to tow a 1700 lb 24-foot trailer and my race cars (they are 2000 lbs and 3100 lbs). Tows awesome. SUV weights 6100 lbs; I get 10.8mpg while towing including over mountain passes (Cascades, WA). 14.5mpg mixed around town/highway empty (which I rarely do - I have more fuel efficient cars as daily drivers, this is only for towing and when I need to haul 7 people around when my family comes to visit.)
Nice Navigator Good score Clean vehicle good video
The first startups are great.
I saw that the speed sensor is disconnected in the front passenger side, thats why you have the traction control light
The switch is in the trunk on the left side behind a panel
The Navagater is a great vehicle. Love it. No longer a member of Copart or I would bid for it.
Mpg is 12city/17highway so not bad for its mileage. Next model year was 13/18. The Ford Excursion got better mpg I think at 13-14 city 17-18Highway.
