Fordy, thanks for the time you take and effort you put in to sharing content with us on all things running and for being authentic. The BS influencers get found out pretty quickly and the ones that irritate me is those who put more effort into critting others that put out quality content themselves. KZread does influence purchasing and training decisions for runners and fortunately, the paid for content creators do get found out. The viewers are not idiots and thanks for treating us as adults and equals.

Thank you both so much for doing this video! You"ve inspired me to get back into my running after an injury. But the bit I appreciate most of all is how honest you've been about ADHD and anxiety. I can't take the meds and was feeling down about not being able to change it, but you've made me look at it from a different, much more positive perspective. Thank you! 😊

Great work. I love the fact that you promote your club or group as for everyone. Sometimes runners or certain groups can be quite snobby in terms of if you can’t run x time or not being a proper runner bs. Nonsense. I also much prefer someone who says it’s rubbish rather than someone who says something is great when it’s not because they’re receiving money or goods from a company. Keep up the great work you’re doing. 👍

I have to mention that you’ve just had the most perfect timing. whilst listening on the podcast version… you and Ben mentioned that you were like corden and might break into song at which point the podcast was interrupted by an advert for the west end musical “wicked” in full song - had to pause my watch as laughing too much!!

Great video. I've always appreciated the honesty. Purely a question, do you think there is a balance to be had since a lot of these channels are run as businesses? I think I remember a time ago when the Fordy club would chuckle/joke (and it was quite comical, to be fair) around a particular YT UK running channel (we all know the one that does a lot of paid reviews), and my understanding is you are friendly/collaborative with them now? One channel I watch a lot GMBN (Global Mountain Biking Network) does now have "AD" clearly shown on videos that promote a product; they feel really forced/unnatural in places, but ultimately the content is still good and I think they have tried to balance the content and product exposure from brands that likely keep the channel alive and employees in a job. It does, however, seem very clear you cannot trust product reviews in these videos as they are clearly paid. Keep up the good work, Fordy and crew. I saw someone running in Sherwood Pines yesterday at an event where I was riding and wearing a Fordy top! I wished them well on their run.

I’ve not but I don’t tend to watch that kind of stuff after he got some data wrong last year and didn’t correct it.
