Yes.. She’s not legally married to him anymore and her daughter is an adult so she can just hit the road and let them deal with their own mess. I used to support them before as a family but now it’s become about how they can tear Meri down.

I think that's slowly what shes doing, which is sad cause of how many kids she has with him and how long they were actually legally married for, so it's really sad whether she says "ok" to other women being in the relationship, it's still more and more obvious how distant shes growing from them how she use to be, and that's sad! But also cause that resentment and putting up with things for so long and putting everyone else first always takes a toll especially how many decades shes been doing that and suffering silently. So shes getting there, sadly, but I guess good for her at the same time and hope it works out. 😟

Robyn's business plan as submitted to the investors was lacking in every way. It documented they were not taking advantage of the internet traffic and free adverstisement from the show. The expo taught them the "sister wives" concept for jewelry that was personalized to their plural lifestyleand polygamist culture was never going to bring in the income necessary to justify four women and Kody working full time to launch MSWC! That was Robyn's dream and she wanted the other three to be her worker ants and for Kody to be overseer cracking the whip when they weren't meeting expectations! Realistically they had already peaked and knew their sales numbers. which were already anemic, would abruptly end. They didn't understand the old saying you have to strike when the iron is hot!. Robyn's biz plan exposed how clueless she was! IShe should have called the local high school and asked for help from the DECA club, she was out of her league.. Robyn response showed me she was jealous of Meri's idea and still couldn't accept the fact that MSWC was a hobby business at best, maybe one part-time employee to help with shipping, assuming their contracts were renewed, giving them free advertisement to peddle that junk she designed! She thought her D-list "celebrity' credentials would launch a multi-million dollar business they could retire on, givng her full credit for rescuing them from eventual financial ruin.

All they needed to know from Meri was how much money does she need to borrow, the interest rate she was willing to pay and how soon could she repay the loan. As well as what her plans were to secure the families investment if she dropped dead or went out of business. Meri had enough equity in her Vegas home to repay the family regardless of whether or not she ever rented a room at Lizzie's. Meri was making enough profit selling the LLR merchandise to pay the note in a few months or less. In fact when she left that meeting with them she went home, turned on the pc and busted her ass to make 40k in a couple weeks! That too annoyed Robyn. They all knew damn well if they gave her the loan and secured it with a second deed of trust on the B&B and one on her house that gave them three viable options for repayment!It was a win-win for them if risk of losing that 40k was more then they could handle. Not to mention she had her $180k per year TLC salary at that time that each of the five adults received when their ratings were getting good.. Christine was giving her a hard time and would have come around if it was presented in that way. Robyn was being a bitch, she was butt-hurt over Meri telling her she wanted to go back to colege and planned to pull away from MSWC! Meri was all she had! Janelle would have been a yes vote because she was smart enough to know Meri could pay it back with the LLR income period! That might leave family bills unpaid if profit was redirected till the note was paid in full but that's not Meri's problem to carry the full burden.! Janelle knows how the wheels turn in lending! If Meri had already obtained bank approval for 60% LVR the financial records provided from the B&B apparently satisfied the underwriters strict guidelines. The family money was never at risk in a short-term loan situation.... that little meeting was nothing but a power struggle fueled by jealousy of their sister wives dream becoming reality and Meri's personal success. :::pass Robyn the tissues::: She will need them in two weeks when she finds out Meri closed on the loan without their help!

That’s a great point! The others didn’t think twice to criticize her B&B, which has the potential to turn a great profit. But let’s go full force with the stupid jewelry business that caters to a very tiny niche market.

Robyn seems pretty entitled telling Meri she's "borrowing from the family" when she herself hasn't been a part of the family nearly as long as the other wives, and hasn't contributed nearly as much to the family's finances. I can see Janelle and Christine having a say, but as far as Robyn's opinion, if I were Meri I think I would be like sit down and stfu new girl, you just got here.

Melanie Walker I watched the show from day one but haven't watched the last three seasons. Early on Kody did say that he liked fuller figure women and wasn't sure about Robyn at first. I guess he saw past her body and fell in love with her for who she is, lol. I don't know if he was being truthful, but she has packed on the pounds since then!

I loathe Robyn in her entirety. She is such a weasel in that family. Meri has been extremely successful in her Lularoe business, why would they even question her on the bed and breakfast?! Jealousy is an ugly trait to have.

It's now five years later and a very successful business. Good for Meri. :)

Did you notice: when Robyn left the room, Kody is all of the sudden nice to Meri🤦‍♀️ Robyn should be very embarassed of herself.

Her business is her escape plan!!!!! She’s got it mapped out in her head,l and she doesn’t want to be tied to them anymore. I don’t think she ever want to have this kind of arrangement but went along with it because at the time, she may have expected to be treated differently.

This guy is annoying... "board of directors" she is the first wife and didn't require a business plan when he accepted all those wives. He also described the business plan as "poorly planned" I see alot of unhappy wives sitting in that circle..he doesn't support Mary or care about what is important to her. Well, Meri happens to have found those other wives for him. She brought Robyn and Christine in. Secondly, she was raised in this faith and wanted to be in a plural marriage, so I'm not sure why she should be rewarded with 40 thousand dollars for being in this lifestyle. I think the fact that she has only one kid is the point - everyone has pulled together to take care of all the children, including Meri's daughter. Now that her child is out of school and self-sufficient, she expects everyone to happily take major financial risks when there are still other, small children to take care of. They're entitled to ask questions about this significant investment.

Um yeah one kid who was told to get more scholarship money because there was like two or three kids starting college. She got accepted to a good school that she really wanted but the others only wanted to go to local school. She mariah was told to work or get more scholarship money to go there...then they two girls got married...bend over backwards...dayton poor dayton cant go to local school so they all got to sell their houses and move to arizona...did robyn and cody have a commitee meeting about that big house? Probably not...cause the other wives were saying...we are supposed to be downsizing...robyn didnt downsize...she got exactly what she wanted...when she wanted. And gets to hold daytons hand while he goes to college..because her offspring get first selection and wants met.

The best part of this clip is that 'My Sister Wives' Closet' (eg Robyn's business) utterly failed and fell apart almost immediately (Robyn's tried relaunching multiple times since but it's never gained traction due to the products being subpar, made with artificial/synthetic materials assembled in China and sold at absurdly inflated prices). While Meri's B&B has been a smashing success, she's since diversified and invested in other projects and, despite unfortunately being involved in some mlm type ventures (iirc there were a few but most notably she was a national sales rep for LulaRoe and in the highest earning bracket, something like the top 2% of all LulaRoe reps, so regardless of the unfortunate business model she made it work to her advantage) Meri is the only real entrepreneur with any successful business endeavors. Outside of Jenelle's work in real estate and whatever TF sketchy ish Kody does behind the scenes, Meri is actually the most successful in the family right now. Too bad she doesn't get enough credit for her ingenuity or repeated successes.

How much money has she made for the family in all these years? She's probably one of the few people in the country who actually makes money selling LLR cause it's damn near impossible to buy from her cause her stuff gets claimed quick. Frankly, I think Cody owes Meri. He has emotionally withdrawn from her since Robin's arrival. He preaches all this sister wives and family communication but doesn't follow through with his first 3 wives. I don't think he is emotionally or physically capable of taking care of 4 wives. He was holding on when it was 3 because they had such great teamwork. Robin messed with the balance and Cody hasn't been able to to keep all the women in his heart. I feel bad for Meri. She is the one he has really closed off from and betrayed. The middle 2 have their own stuff going on and don't seem as bothered by it, but it hurt her deeply. I really think she needs to leave him and start over fresh. She is having the life sucked out of her in this family.

They should have sold Kodys expensive vehicle to help Meri. He always buys expensive flashy vehicles.

I really think Mary wants to do her own thing. I think she's had enough of this sort of life. She hasn't been happy in years. Maybe at first it worked for her, but it hasn't in many years. She should just leave and pursue her own life and career. I'm sure she wouldn't be the first one to ever leave a family. Doesn't mean she can't still stay on friendly terms with them.
