I got this achievement at year 22 with fruitful partnership
I would LOVE to see at the end of this series once you get 100% of all of the achievements a simulation game of a galaxy filled with all of the factions/empires you used to get every achievement! Ideally it would even include the AI empires you made but didn't directly control, but w/ how slow the progress has gotten since our fast start idk if there will be too many empires to spawn with just the empires you directly controlled. Idk, I just had that random idea based on some of the other simulation game videos you made in the past.

That’s a great idea.
Not going to lie, the different FTL types on launch, while a cool concept, absolutely sucked ass and bringing it down to just hyperlanes in 2.0 was absolutely necessary.

That is absolutely wrong, Warp Drives were an incredibly enjoyable FTL method and the only reason it was axed was because PDX were too incompetent to design an AI that didn't break-in all aspects of the game, not just FTL. Forcing everybody to use the most mechanically boring and creatively bankrupt FTL method was an incredibly shitty move, and one of the reasons why the 2.0-2.4 era was the WORST time for Stellaris.

@cadenr7165 you're just proving their point by outlining exactly why balance was never going to be achieved between what were supposed to be equally viable options.

@@dangerface300 Why should they be equally viable? That's a false premise. In a game where Clone Army, Necrophage, Disruptor Cruisers, Meritocracy, Imperial Fiefdom, Psi ascension and many, many more exist, "balance" is just a made-up concept. Is HoI4 balanced when one player can play as Germany and another as Poland? Is CK2 balanced when one player can play a tiny Irish country and another, the Caliph of the Umayyed Caliphate? I mean, it's my understanding that ~80% of the Stellaris community plays single player-who are you balancing against? The AI? Who receives free bonuses and can spawn as an Advanced Empire with free planets and techs? That doesn't sound very balanced to me. Removing fun options from the game just because other options are mid does not a good game make.

@@cadenr7165difference between stellaris and pdx games based on history, everyone starts on a similar level also, the devs do try to make things more balanced. why would you let a feature that sucks so bad no one picks it keep sucking?
@cadenr7165

@@_apsis Absolutely nobody starts on a similar level in Stellaris-see previous comparisons between Clone Army and Doomsday, and advanced AI empires. There's a very clear, and certainly intentional, difference in power between empires based on what they pick and how they roll their start. The devs do not try to make things more balanced-they buff things that are unused. There's a world of difference in between, namely that strong things, even hideously strong things (see Scion, the old king of the Origins, and previously mentioned Clone Army) are unchanged. If it ain't broke...
Commenting for boost & I only have ten left to get to 100%. I just finished Directive 67, the two Astral Rift endings, and overthrowing the Under One Rule dictatorship.

Down to six here, directive has been proving frustrating
This was one of the achievements I just cheesed out. Lithoid subterranean Hive for max habitability and no food/CG worries, habitable planets slider cranked to max, got it in like 30 mins.
Ah, this achievement ^^
Haven't been pushing for achievements and I'm just under half iirc, though I'm finally giving up mods to try for more, thanks to this series. Also, nice :)
Love the series!
Nice! I'm on 55%, but haven't been hunting - think there are a few easier ones to hunt down when I get back into it. Currently playing the pre-FTL version(Timberborn!)
I'm trying to do them all in a thematic fashion without really min maxing. I'm at 71% now, thanks to getting achievements from doing machine age things. It will probably take me a while, but I'll get there!
Been on and off achievement hunting in this game for years at this point, more of a hobby whenever the Stellaris bug bites. Currently at 121 out of 174, or 69% (giggity). Although more will probably drop with Machine Age, so sadly that will drop. Good luck on your quest.
I love the progress your making, but I don't think you'll finish before the dlc comes out and sets you back. I hope your ready
That's crazy!
They need to add this in the starting game rules interface cause you can already max out gate and wormhole spawns
Took a break when I hit 4 left. The one I fear trying to get is Stay on target. Good luck with that Galatron run E Pe Two Nil
I did yeet the fleet after getting the warlock, i also was catapult orgin.
100% and wait for new in incoming patch
Can we get access to those notes? They might be helpful for other people doing achievement hunts.
Can we get that list of achievements with notes? xD Seems like it would be useful. ;p
110 just got the box thing it hurt
I have 83% of alle achievements and hunting is so painfull. Stellaris is the most RNG out of all PDX games were sometimes you have 0 agenda over the result, which can be frustrating.
nice 😏
NICE!
I like mods and have 0 achievements
Can you do a guide to gigastructural engineering?
No, no, you seem confused, I have no Achievements. Um. Great seeing you get them.
Nice
Go go directive 67
Neat
151/184 (86%) including both Galatron achievements; will probably do some more hunting once The Machine Age drops
I wish they'd fix it so you don't need a warp drive to use gates wormholes or L gates. Honestly bad design.
Yeet
i dont achievement hunt and am at 52%
And in 9 days all of this will be for nought
