I've bought the drill guide a couple of months ago (long before seeing this video) and even if it's OK for the price, it has a bit of play at the bearing level. Not that much but enough so that you need to train a bit and account for it. Same for the guide bushings. Depending on the drill weight and balance, you'll need to keep the base well pressed against the surface, because it's so small than the whole contraption tends to be unstable. BTW, it can be seen in the video that the guy is using clamps to hold the base firmly. This is usually not the way to use such accessory since it is suppose to help when drilling holes in the middle of large boards (otherwise, a drill press is largely preferable). The extension rods and plate that come with the tool can be handy here to extend the overall base surface, as long as you place them on the ride side to compensate for the imbalance caused by the drill itself. I've ended up building a larger base plate on top of which the original one is screwed, a bit like what is often done for palm routers, and this makes the accessory far easier to use. All in all, it worth the money and it will help you guide your drill straight and perpendicular, but some preliminary testing is preferable before drilling the real holes. More generally, I've bought a couple of Veiko products on Banggood site and I must admit that the quality is very good for the price. The ENJOYWOOD 450 mm miter guide for table saw is a good bargain too. Very good quality (its weight is quite impressive) albeit at a quite reasonable price.
How lovely for you Jay! New playthings which look fabulous. You can have even more fun and we get to watch. Thank you Banggod👏👏👏👏❤

This video is going to force me to buy a new table saw. Yeah thanks a lot. 😅 I'm impressed with that drill guide. I bought one years ago that was so sloppy it was basically unuseable. It jammed on the guides and the bearings had about 5mm play measured at the tip of a drill bit. It ended up in the recycling bin.

@@Flippingdrawers apologies dude. It was more of a response to the OP’s point about the drill guide. It looked like the chuck could be off. Could be my expectation of it was higher seeing how sharp and slick it looked. I’ve no beef with you or crappy drill bits. I use them all the time too. It was a comment just about the drill guide’s chuck.
Love the little 'tada' moment when you toss the empties. The bird mouth wood pusher/finger saver is a best buy.

Hi mate and thanks but it’s gone now. I posted a picture of the man who came to pick it up a while back.
That’s a Katz-Moses hammer. That’s why it’s so nice.
I first bought something woodworking through Banggood maybe 5 years ago. It was a square and it was brilliant. Very accurate and good value. I’ve since bought quite a few items through Banggood and it’s my experience that most are very good. I think there are a few things to mention: - Banggood is like the shop that sells tools. The shop itself doesn’t own the brands and there are likely to be items of varying quality at varying price points. Therefore, look for the brand names and don’t assume Banggood = great or = terrible - my measuring tools are all Veiko brand and are excellent. There may well be other brands available on/through Banggood but I am not aware of them
Where are these made?
@Flippingdrawers

probably China
Woohoo! Christmas for Karol/Jay (What is your first name anyway.?) ! I'm a gadget person as well, and I totally loved this video🤩 I am, however, not a woodworker, but even so I was impressed with the quality. (That hammer is a cutie! Is the head solid brass?) I visited their website, and they are certainly diverse, but nothing outstanding like the products you reviewed. Still, nice to know there is good quality there; in the past things out of China could be really cheaply/poorly made. I look forward to seeing you use these products on refinishing projects!

That was fun watching you open all the new tools. I did notice when you cut wood pieces on your table saw, that you pushed it through on the piece you were cutting off…this left opportunity for the item between the blade and the fence to “kick back” - just thinking of your safety. 😬

Of the few Banggood tools I have bought, I have been impressed with the company. Only thing is that there are a lot of things that do not have any instructions for how to use or what parts are for.
I bought a drill guide from banggood. The bearings that the quick connect is pressed in, burned out after 2 minutes of use.
