Interesting because in Australia each State has WHS requirements (Workplace Health and Safety) which still apply even if you work from home, so your employer is legally required to make sure your home office setup (especially with COVID and lots of people working from home) does not lead to injury or illness.

Great video! Building up on that idea. That business could be 100% virtual. Charge $79 instead of $200, ask customer to fill a small questionnaire (height, type of work they do, any physical health issue, amount of time per day working, etc) and to send pictures of them sitting at their desk. Then send a full report with recommendations and recommended office products (if desired).

Great one uncle Noah! If you so choose to work on the business further, I'm and architect, designer, inventor and a woodworker! I'd be happy to do allllllll of that for you in Sydney Australia. I checked all the same research you did for Australia... and Home and Office furniture is in insane demand here as well, along with great profit margins. And as far as I know, and initial research reveals that, no one is really selling the whole package (Consultation - Products - Assembly and help). Also, very few companies are actually putting any effort in designing a true ergonomic product using sustainable materials and practices. IKEA is shit furniture, every time there is a council cleanup here I see so much IKEA furniture being thrown out... breaks my heart.

Something that's way off on this video is: "Pitching to your own friends" to see if it will sell. This is something that I don't advise anyone do. Instead of that, Noah could have posted this on FB marketplace or similar sites. Used tag keywords such as home office desk, gaming chair etc then see what kind of responses would give. --- I like the "generating" ideas part. I often build products that I have issues with. ( but not always ), sometimes i run after the biggest market and learn enough to build and market. I did this with Realtor CRM. I am not a realtor, never sold a house but i spoke with enough people to understand the pain point and built a platform for them. Great video!

That is correct, depending on the budget and the actual comfort of the products, there could be strategic partnerships made where the entire set up would cost a bit less than individual products... and there is a great opportunity for actually designing, white label manufacturing, and going there and actually setting it up. Later full fledged manufacturing can be easy with multiple CNCs, no waste, amazingly designed and ergonomic home and office setups.
