    Decision is a big one. I've spent the last 17 years in a dead end, albeit secure job constantly thinking and evaluating business ideas (analysis paralysis) for when I go out on my own. It's a huge time hog. I finally took action last fall with a business idea, made many calls and emails, but realized there was no viable market. Now I am trying a different approach, going directly to industries I like and have upwards growth and asking for their pain points, then building a business based on that. Tony Fadell's book called Build had a good quote . Build a pain killer, not a vitamin.

    Hi Noah, I purchased your book and while I agree with most of the points you have in the book and felt it is very helpful in understanding how to start, this video is not the greatest example. Most people wanting to start don't already have a great sphere and colleagues with disposable income to help fund you. What might take you 48 hours might take someone in the projects 48 weeks. A proper video would be you turning a rando you've never met before into a millionaire.

  • @KastorFlux

    @KastorFlux

    3 ай бұрын

    Most software as a service starts with a few lifetime members willing to give feedback to help with product development. As the product matures and you have enough people giving reliable feedback, you switch to recurring subscriptions for new customers. Sometimes there is a period where new customers can't sign up because the product isn't ready to launch to the general public and you have to manage costs. That's not ideal, and with a good plan you don't have to do that. You just switch over to general availability with proper pricing and the expense of the lifetime subs becomes more and more trivial as the business grows.

    I just pre read the book in the local library on Sunday order it online and I'm getting it on Tuesday. Excited to read it. Me and my team is finishing a software online for Pilots to register flights. How can I use the book to scale this business?? Would you like to interview us? 😊😊😊😊😊😊 (If you do I take you for a flight on my local airport "somewhere in Europe", myself as a pilot, as a thank you token)
