I love playing games while intoxicated. Like, yea, it's not gonna help me win but it's gonna be funny for me and anyone watching me. My FBI guy deserves some entertainment sometimes. Side note: An FPS would not be my first choice for a game to play drunk.

Mauga is """strong""" in one situation: You're facing another Mauga and are just standing there shooting eachother and doing nothing else. Then your numbers go up really quickly, it's so useful for the rest of your team

hes also strong in any situation where he is 1v1 a DPS at like 15m or less. You can poke from a distance sure but he melts people faster than bastion turret form close range with both barrels

Dude did nothing but tunnel vision on the shield. Even the silver players he seems to enjoy shitting on know not to just sit there and shoot a Rein shield the entre game.

I always play Overwatch while Stoned out of my mind Usually a good time even though I have the reaction times of a deceased cat while stoned

Props to the Ana who canceled the anti for the whole game. It's so generous to let Flats play the character when he's not getting pinned/hindered/stunned/slept 😅 (seriously, Mauga is a status effect magnet)

Been there... In my early 20's Halo 3 had just came out and you could watch replays of your matches and I had a couple saved where I would be so hammered I would walk into walls while half passing out before I snapped back to reality just to run out into the open and get sniped from across the map, and then half pass out again either spinning in circles or running into the walls... great times. a little blurry memories, but overall a really fun time.

i just dont think flats picked up how to play mauga since he's new. he isnt busted or anything and ana destroys him, but his strength is that he's the only tank in the game with consistent ranged poke. you poke them down and drain their resources with your hitscan and burn, then go in with your charge and destroy them with your sustain and damage. but most of the time flats is just unloading into reins shield and using his charge like a rein charge..

@@buttsmcgee50 no offense, but if you're taking L's against a zen or kiriko in a 1v1 on Mauga that is such a genuine skill issue. also, purple shutting down his only real tanking ability essentially makes him explode if he tries to take any space. you can self-cleanse discord with LOS break and you have the range contest him at longer sightlines. still annoying but not NEARLY as bad a purple. with kiri she would only be consistently dinking you if you're close to her. and if you're close to her well.. you have two bastions on your arms that give you overhealth, and she's got a kunai that does 30 damage bodyshot if she's not CONSTANTLY dinking you. don't get me wrong, kiri is ridiculous, but ana is clearly so much better against mauga than she is.

Sometimes if I drink just the right amount I seem to get better at the game. It's like at that point where the alcohol doesn't significantly affect my motor or cognitive skills but is just enough to give me the confidence to make plays I wouldn't normally have attempted. Past that point tho I'm kinda useless. But it's still funny

I love Ana, but the devs really need to rethink the anti-nade in a 5v5 format; it’s just hell for a majority of the tanks and will be for upcoming tanks as well. Can’t they shorten the time it lingers or maybe even make it that you can only be healed half when it’s applied it’s of total no healing…

I had a similar experience, but I was black out. Was on Shambali and DC'd half the way through. I watched the replay the next morning, I shit you not it took me like 1-2 seconds to react to anything, and I would half the time be shooting the environment instead of the enemy. Was hilarious to watch back.

I used to drink a lot and I'd play OW1 while I was hammered and one of my greatest achievements was somehow managing a 90%+ direct hit rate with pharah's rockets while sitting at a 45 degree angle cause I couldn't sit straight anymore.

I do this every once in a while with friends five stacking. All drunk.

Every once in a while I love getting shitfaced and playing some Overwatch with the buds. Shockingly it makes my aim much better, but the downside is that I have absolutely zero idea of where the hell I am at any given time. I also tend to get a lot more talkative in game and end up with a bunch of new people added to my friends list.

Mauga can do one thing and that's make the enemy's tank life more miserable than it already is by being a constant stream of damage in their face. Problem is, he's a tank aswell, so everyone on the enemy team will dedicate their resources to making your life miserable aswell, especially since he doesn't really have any kind of mitigation to speak of, aside from his E. Like even Junkerqueen has some mitigation in the form of her shout which grants overhealth but also makes her move faster and is therefore harder to hit.

One of my best overwatch nights was when I was on three tabs of lsd. Completely unable to communicate but I could see four seconds in to the future at the time so it worked out nicely.

The moment they showed a big target without a shield I knew I'm going to be asleep half the time

Still better than my aim sober.

Mauga is pretty OP in terms of pumping up useless damage dealt. Even Mauga is counter to Mauga. Mauga is Bastion from wish.

You gotta be playing much much more aggressive for the squish-ies as the Ana is your biggest threat, kill her and the rest comes easy. He is a squish bully, but bullies a lot of the tank roster but a lot of characters counter him very easily but with how his ult works? Your team has opportunities to make huge plays even after you get evaporated

I like how in review videos, Flats will talk all kinds of shit about tanks doing nothing but attacking the other tank. Then when he plays Mauga, he does nothing but shoot at a shield the whole game.

Maiga heals when an enemy has the burning effect and is being shot. One of his guns causes burning while the other is just bullets. If you use his other ability near your team mates. Any damage they cause to an enemy heals mauga. There for an ashe, mauga, bastion, comp (supports are almost 100% interchangeable) would be insane because they would all cause fire damage and insane amount of bullet damage. Mauga also hets 50 over heal from damaging burning enemies

This just further reinforces my belief that NO ONE plays this game sober.
