I love how in the very beginning, Benson, being the easy going guy he is, didn’t even flinch as yarn was hurdled onto his sleeping spot

Why didn’t you do it in the round? Instead of pieces?

@@bobamatcha9323 I was so surprised 😮 then we all started laughing. 👍🏻
Actually, the technique of getting wool wet, and rubbing it together to connect it is called Wet Felting! That's how they make wool berets. They lay tufts of wool in opposite directions, and rub it all together inside some mesh with a bunch of soap, and water till it makes a fabric circle! that's why they don't have outside seems, it's a super cool process~
The jumper turned out amazing!! Justa tip for next time: for the button hole, instead of casting off, do a yarn forward during the knit row 😊

I knit,a little, but now I have to know what is a "yarn forward"?
@skyer0blue
Жыл бұрын
@@kskc1234 it's a technique used to create a hole in a garment, either for decorative use or practical use (ie. a buttonhole). During a knit row you wrap the woola round the needle anticlockwise so it makes a loop, then you knit the next two stitches together.

I'm a high school teacher, but also a knitter. So every once in a while I treat myself to watching some knitter vlogs while I eat lunch. Thank you for being here for my lunch breaks! You rock!
Any crochet pals: you can join yarns and have no ends to weave in by using russian joins!! there are also other knots you can use but i like the strength of russian joins :)
Thank you for another great and gutsy crocheting video. I started saying, “Why not!” When I craft because of you. You always try new and crazy ideas and at first I say, “ nah that won’t work.”… but it turns out great.” Thank you for the inspiration.❤

same!!! i started being less of a perfectionist in my crafts bc of jenna and started having fun more
jenna!! i’ve seen a small crochet couch people have been making for their cats and i totally think you should make one for benson!!!
The sweater is amaze balls! I am old enough to be your mother but I really enjoy your sense of style and your exuberance is infectious. I like to make things, too. :-) And I have recently discovered that I enjoy thrifting! Overall you are adorable and I admire your determination with your projects as well as your ability to learn new things and not expect perfection and get frustrated. Keep at it!

Experienced Aussie RN here, longtime follower. Strep throat IS tonsillitis for most people, and needs antibiotics so that it doesn’t get very serious and spread. Your white cell count being high simply confirms you have an infection (which you already knew). The throat swab will confirm whether they were correct on their diagnosis and whether you’re on the right antibiotics. But the fact you felt better quickly initially indicates it was correct. I’ve had bad tonsillitis (yes, strep too) and also lost my voice for a time. You poor thing. You’re back and fighting! Love the jumper. (Sweater.)
jenna, have you ever knit a raglan sweater? Or something that is made in one piece? it might be fun to try! I love them because its so cool to see it being shaped.
I wanted to make a scrap sweater but was terrified I’d hate the way it looked. I couldn’t visualize it so thank you for making one! I love the colors you picked ❤
Your sweater turned out great! That sweet little sidekick you have beside you is adorable 🐶💗👍🏽
Your hair looks great! It’s tempting me to try and cut my own hair too but I’m a-scared too!!love, love, love the scrap cardi!
I just finished my first scrap sweater!! I wasn't sure on all my color scraps but it turned out and I'm in love with it!!🥰 (I feel like I have to rebuy all my balls to make a matching pair of pants to go with them🥹)
Love how easy you make it all look. The cardi looks AMAZING 😍
I love how you watch Ghost Files when knitting too it’s so iconic
You know I ve always had two left hands and only sheer perseverance ever made me finish my sewing . And the fact that I wanted dresses that were not on the market during the nineties. I loved dresses like aprons , that folded over in the back and tied in front aso. Today they are every where. I had one pattern for wide trousers which I used for over twenty years with every fabric imaginable. I think you are a designer in the making. All the best !
It turned out beautiful! I love scrap yarn! I'd rather knit or crochet with scrap yarn than make something in one solid color. I am accumulating a nice collection of little bits of sock weight yarn, and I'm trying to figure out what to do with it. I'm thinking of making a rectangular piece with buttons that can be converted into a scarf, cowl, hooded scarf, shrug, etc.
Jenna you inspire me. Love your bubbly personality. I haven’t mastered knitting sweaters or cardigans yet. The scrap yarn colors was a great match to your carpet.
I love it! I would never think to combine the colors you do but the effect is so amazing! I'm inspired to be braver
I look forward to your videos every week and you never fail to make me smile. Lovely cardigan and Little Bensy - he's too cute. Sorry you were both poorly. Glad you're better now. ❤️ I'm in Australia at the moment for a 3 week tour. I'm missing my dog back home in the UK but I have brought my knitting with me to relax with in-between rehearsals, interviews and performances . Keep going Jenna. You're bringing a load of happiness with your videos. Big hugs for Benson ❤️
Great sweater, the pumpkins are cute, maybe your minion need pants, lol. And of course Benson is adorable. So sorry you were sick. ❤
Haircut still looking so good too!! She’s an inspiration ❤
It's so amazing & I love your creativity so much, Jenna! 💖
Hey Jenna! Love your jumper. I'm planning to crochet one using just scraps. Pro tip: A 6x6" (15.24 x 15.24 cm) gauge swatch can help you get the number of stitches needed for your oversize sweater. Just follow this formula for getting stitches that measure a desired length: number of stitches per 4" (10 cm) times the desired length. Divide by 4" (10 cm) and the result rounded to the nearest even number is your desired number of stitches (assuming you are working ribbing after you cast on).
So I watched this while crocheting my top , I enjoyed both 😍 love the vibe in your videos so much
Wooooow I love it!! Because of you making these awesome crochet and knit projects, it inspired me to try it too :) And now I love crochetting! And I also love your thrift videos. Keep going Jenna!
The colors are so good together! I wouldn’t have thought they worked but it looks beautiful!
Omgosh... you were so sick for so long. Glad you're getting better. The sweater looks gorgeous. I love the fit, but understand wanting a big loose comfy fit. You have a good eye for putting colors together.
aaah i saw the short and was hoping you'd make a video of it! it looks amazing btw
Hello, just discovered you and have watched a few of your videos. Another way to make buttonholes that I find easier than casting off and on is to yarn forward and knit 2 together, yf k2tog ❤️
Hi Jenna, the cardigan turned out beautiful. Love the mix of colors, inspiration from your rug made it special. Thanks for sharing, happy to hear your back to yourself after being sick. Take care 🥰
I am loving all this yarn content, please do more crochet and knitting projects for more videos! 😊😊
With my scrap yarns I have left over from previous projects I just crochet it into a blanket made a mile a minute blanket which I have to sew the strips together and currently I am working on a granny square but of course I love making blankets it’s my favorite thing to knit and crochet
I love to watch your knitting vlogs while knitting my own projects! Very inspiring lol. And, I love oversized sweaters, I'm starting to want to knit my own once I finish my current project
You are a delightfully funny human :) this is cheering me up in a tough time. thanks for the yarn joining tip, I am going to try that next time i knit.
Would love to see you try beading! I actually want to get into it to make jewelry so would to see your take on it. Good luck on that!
Sunny and whimsical. Love it.

That pumpkin though... hahaha... I love the minions...and it Jason a butt too... how crazy. Thanks for sharing
It’s fab! I enjoyed all the doggo hangs in this video, too. Major nap inspo! Glad you’re feeling better and that it wasn’t the dreaded 2020 plague.

I love this idea! I’m definitely going to try and make one of these myself. I don’t have a very big stash however so it might take me awhile. 😂 I really love your finish piece, definitely looks like a lost sibling to your carpet. ❤🎉
i just have done watch your previous videos and then i see you already uploaded a new one! amazing!! love you!
Reduce, recycle ♻️ reuse.. love the creativity and imagination!
Beautiful Work on your Sweater!
I always love watching you. Thank you. I have been wanting to knit a cardigan with scraps. But I can’t find a pattern. I should have waited until you finished. 👍🏻
I love making things out of scraps. I just finished a bunch of cotton bags and despite how many more projects are in my queue, I had to make a scrap pencil pouch. Then, I'll do some face scrubbies. And anything left after that (or really short ones before round two,) will go into the cotton bag I am making to hold my future cotton yarn scraps. Scrap procjects: creativity and yarn chicken married and had babies and they are all beautiful.
queen… your hair looks SO good
Yay! I've been waiting for this video after I saw the short you posted about it! 😍😍
