Once you try knitting top down in the round you will not want to go back. There are so many beautiful (free) patterns, I really recommend trying!

@@suzanne5238 less stitching together later, you work the collar first, then the yoke, put your sleeve stitches on hold, finish the body, and lastly pick up stitches for sleeves and knit those down!!

Sometimes if a sweater is itchy, rinsing it with hair conditioner can help soften the fibres and make it wearable.

Hey Jenna, idk if you’ve done any colourwork knits, BUT if you want to try it, there is a danish tradition from the 70’s ish that is called Hönsestrik, which is super fun and colourful. Basically it’s colourwork but with all the colours and really fun patterns.

I love it. I’m not really into strips but these colors work!! I can not wear wool in West Tennessee, USA. We are known for having all four seasons in a 24 hour period. So light weight fabrics that can be layered is a must. We are having very low temperatures and just had an ice storm. It will be melted away in 24 -48 hours.

Love your sweater! I really enjoy watching your channel and you have inspired me to get back into knitting and crocheting. Currently I’m stuck in the house due to health reasons so I’ve been passing time making afghans and cardigans. First I crocheted a cardigan from yarn in my stash. Second cardigan I’m trying to knit. Funny story though. The pattern calls for size 9 and 10 needles. Ended up I couldn’t find my size 10 needles but found non-matching 10 1/2 needles. Not even sure where I got them, probably from a friend’s family estate. After starting the sweater 4 times all was going well until one of the 10 1/2 needles broke into three pieces. Note to self, never use plastic needles. Ugh… since I can’t get out and live in a rural area I’ll have to put this one on hold till I can get the needed needles. Kind of frustrating and funny at the same time. Don’t worry I have plenty of other projects to do.
