my exact thoughts ☠️ especially as it got bigger - all of these stitches and she did that within 24hours! that's actually incredible,

nobody said crochet was fast but it is pretty .Be proud of what you made.Size isn't everything lol
People who do not crochet(knit)(sew)(???) have no idea how much work goes into a project, so I just want to say: WELL DONE - for this and all your other projects!
Girl, the fact that you weaved in ends while you were going is a feat! Killer job

Depends on ur posture. I notice if im tryin to reach a stich then I'll notice but if I bring it to me the I won't feel anything. I used to do 12 hours a day
I still can't get over it how good your Lego table looks 😍
Thank you Jenna, for showing every one how much work and time goes into crochet something. People really underestimate the time a crochet or knit project takes. I hope you get well soon!
A hexagon granny square cardigan would be good project to try. You just crochet two big six sided granny squares and they magically fold into a cardigan. You don't have to think and there are a few videos on it. I'm currently making a black one with baby alpaca yarn. Give it a go! This vid just showed me I probably should concentrate more to get it finished. The blanket looks great! Hope you feel better soon.🖤

Watching the twilight series whilst crocheting is very relatable. Might have been there a couple weeks ago. Also the hunger games movies have been a "pleasure "

Hi Jenna - I hope you're feeling better. I used to live in Alaska and encourage your visit with this warning - the majority of the people I knew there decided to move to AK after visiting on vacation. That was my story as well. My recommendations depend on where you want to go and how you plan to get there. If you fly into Anchorage, you will have more thrift stores, but other than the views of Denali and whales from downtown, it's pretty much like any similar-sized city you'd find elsewhere. You could also fly into one of the smaller cities/towns (Sitka, Ketchikan, Juneau) or take a cruise ship or the Alaska Ferry to get there. If you go to only one place, I suggest Juneau. It rains a LOT (I suspect even more than where you live) but is gorgeous. If you have rain gear, bring it. Great hiking, fishing, biking. The downtown is fun to walk around and you can easily get to a glacier if that appeals to you.

Juneau has a fudge store, too. I'm partial to the one with pecans.
This is so impressive, you really did heaps. Forty hours of crochet only got me an itty bitty tube top, so I'd count this blanket a huge success.
Jenna: I need to rest Also Jenna: I'm not going to rest for 24 hours Very relatable. The granny square blanket looks adorable, lovely colour combinations.
7:30 jack said "sleep is for the weak, get to crocheting" LOL
I love it! My first crocheted blanket was a massive granny square and it’s still one of my favorite blankets ever! Definitely keep adding to it and maybe consider adding a fun border! Borders have become my favorite part of the blanket making process!

I think I’m going to try this. It can be my stress reliever project.
I think you got a lot done in 24hrs! As you said, it gets deceptively less rewarding over time since as the square grows it takes longer and longer and longer (and longer...) to do an outside edge. I'm really impressed! Feel better soon, I'm also on the antibiotics/mystery infection train right now and .... well, I'm getting a lot of knitting done, so that's a silver lining?
I want to try this challenge too! I love the way you broke the time up and didn't go a straight 24hrs. So much fun and I'm glad you didn't push yourself too hard with being sick! Great job. I love it :) About the Alaska trip, my cousin and his wife did a Alaskan cruise and then a Alaskan train tour to the Denali National Park where they stayed in a lodge and explored the park.
i think this video is actually so informative into how long it takes to finish projects for crocheters!
You did SO well to do that much in 24hrs! My favourite pattern for blankets is the corner to corner crochet! It is GREAT for scrap yarn and so easy! You can tweak the pattern to make it rectangle, otherwise it comes out as a perfect square. Highly recommend! I sincerely hope you are feeling better soon!!!
There are a lot of alaskan cruises which is helpful because then you can not worry about where you're gonna sleep/eat and everything is included. Then when they stop at ports they let you explore the places. Most cruises are super affordable too. Just remember to bring dramamine if you do that though so you're not seasick.
Highly recommend going snorkeling in Alaska! I went for my honeymoon and honestly it was the most memorable thing we did in Alaska. Also people's faces when you say you went snorkeling in Alaska is hilarious 😂
Granny square stitch doesn't feel that satisfying tho, because the bigger your blanket gets the longer you have to crochet to get to the end of the row. I'm so glad you decided to split up the 24 hrs BTW, losing sleep can wreak havoc on your immune system, so the 12 hr "shifts" is a much better idea. I think you did phenomenal on this blanket, 24 hours really isn't that long in the grand scheme of things. It takes so much time to craft things from yarn, that's why they are so satisfying and special.
I love that you did a Twightlight marathon while crocheting. I've done that too and it makes for a relaxing day ❤
You should make a 2nd part finishing the blanket. It looks so cute so far 😍❤️🌈
I hope you feel better soon, Jenna! Crocheting is kinda resting, but sleep is also important for recovery, so look after yourself please

I was thinking the same. Maybe you take a break from y.t.and take care of yourself. ❤
Maybe you'd like making a temperature/climate blanket. It's where you choose a colour for every celsius/degree number and every day you crochet one row according to the temperature that day. Like a journal. In the end you probably have a very colourful blanky :)
@grannym2880

I've always wanted to do a temperature blanket since discovering them through KZread, but living in tropical Queensland Australia, it would be 99% red, and you'd have to squint to see a thread or 2 of blue or green 😂
IM SO HAPPY I FOUND YOUR CHANNEL!!! YOU MAKE ME SO HAPPY BRO YOU AND YOUR ENERGY AND PERSONALITY IS SO STUNNING LIKE AHHHH
Feel better Jenna!! This blanket is gorgeoussss!
you are so brave to even try to do this for 24 hours straight. im a huge fan and love your videos and in fact your the reason i tried to even crochet and now i can make bookmarks since i only started. keep it up!
I love your channel so much. The combination of actual information and fun lifestyle vlog is amazing
I totally care about anything you do especially when you crochet. Please take care of you. Sending healing vibes and love xo
love how it turned out!! and yay alaska! if you can, a cruise is honestly theeee BEST way to see it. the cruises are usually packed with older folks, but honestly, that's part of the fun. you usually start off in Anchorage, make tons of fun stops along the coast and then end up in Vancouver. you'll see glaciers and lots of animals - but the views are just amazing. however you end up exploring, have fun!!
ive been working on a similar blanket for WEEKS so im beyond impressed u did that much in 24 hours
Your blanket is turning out nicely. Kudos to you for acknowledging your tiredness and paused for the night. It's no fun to finish something and then have to frog it back to the halfway point. Been there, done that. While watching you crochet, I crocheted 4 rows (the outer 4) on a 9" center medallion for the back of a vest I'm making. I hope this round of antibiotics does the trick for you 🌞
Girl, this is so beautiful and I know that was hard, good job!
Jack is so cute in his cloud sweater! I had cloud PJs that I wore until they were threadbare. Nice job on the blanket! Time to give your wrists a break. ❤
Fabulous video. I love the blanket... and I love your wee dogs. Love your flat/apartment! Beautifully decorated. You are a sweetheart!!
Dude this blanket is HUGE for 24 hours, imo. I think blankets are so deceiving on how long we expect them to take. I just finished a blanket (besides weaving in ends) that I started in JUNE while watching this video. And it's only big enough to cover like a twin sized bed.
What you accomplished in 24 hrs is amazing! You did so good! 🎉 Your dogs had me LOL because mine would be doing the same things.
Cool video! Girl I'm also on my second round of antibiotics because of tooth pain so I'm in bed, knitting for hours and binging on videos and this is my way to recover my health :) happy 24h crocheting!
I feel so cozy every time I watch your videos. Thank you!
That's a really pretty pattern! I like the colors you used. And as someone with carpal tunnel-- omgaahhhhhhhhh I could never.
You always pick such an amazing colour combo
amazing Jenna as always!
I love the vibes of your apartment all the colors look so nice
Thanks for keeping it real and looking after yourself on this one by taking breaks and actually sleeping!!
Ur doing so great!! Still recovering from ur illness but here u are making content! Proud of u❤️❤️❤️
Thank you for sharing. I love it! And crocheting is resting. I feel your frustration with the misdiagnosis. Keep crocheting and sharing videos.
hello my younger sister really likes watching your channel she was so excited about the news that you where going to Alaska and really wanted to comment some suggestions but she doesn’t have an account so I’m letting her use mine. Hope you enjoy your vacation. Hi I live in Alaska and I’m happy that you decided to come here for the summer here are some of the things that you might like to try 1. Salmon 8. Fruitland wasilla 9. when at the Alaska State fair you should definitely try Denali cream puffs 10. Garcias Eagle River 11. fireside books Palmer Hope you have a fun time in Alaska
Your blanket is absolutely beautiful. Love the colors and how great they look altogether. Expert work. You are very talented.
hey jenna ur sewing vids and crochet vids ltrly push me to do smth lol...thanks for making these
this was so pretty! I'm inspired and want to make a similar blanket now lol You did a great job!
I love the idea that you are coming here to Alaska. I live in Palmer, Alaska. My suggestion is to check out the Muskox farm. It would be a unique experience to knit or crochet with Muskox hair.
You go, girl! It’s gorgeous! ❤
Not impressive for 24 hours?! As someone who has made a couple of blankets that are knit/crochet in the round: this size ist impressive! I always felt like the time you need for one round grew exponentially with the diameter of the blanket 😵💫 The yarn looks lovely. Is it all cotton? Enjoy your new blanket ❤
Amazing blanket ❤️ I hope you are feeling better now and taking care of yourself
You inspire me to crochet, you are sooooo funny/kind AND you make the most amazing videos ❤
I’m so glad you rested. You have to take care of yourself!!
Love your colors! Looks great
you are so chill
I hope you feel better Jenna your blanket looks so good! Also I died seeing jack pee on your duvet covers😂😂 poor dude just wanted to claim what’s his😂 love you girly can’t wait to see a huge blanket propped up on your couch in future videos🫶🏼
I love your video...yes it does go slower on the big projects made at Christmas 4 afghans.. One was super heavy.. Get well soon and take care of yourself.
It must have been so difficult, but it's so worth it! Gorgeous crochet!
You should be proud, it looks so good 😍
Jenna, that’s beautiful ! I’m honestly jealous 😂❤
I love the vibe of your recent videos!! ❤
i stumbled upon your vdeo randomly, and the fact that your so down to earth AND that your watching twilight while crocheting.. immediate subscribe !

Beautiful crochet granny square! Also I love your dog’s sweater! ❤️
i love the top in the intro, its so pretty!!!
nice talent you have Jenna!
Hi Jenna I haven’t laughed so much in a long time. You are very funny and I like your videos so I subscribed and of course hope you get over your sickness and make a full recovery.
I loved watching your video. This was the first one for me and was comply entertained. Going to go back and watch more 😊
Yes! I like how go your blanket with all your duties and still creative. God job!👍
I like your way of rating the progress using baby, teen, pre-teen terms. But at some point i started counting the rounds like a tree and thought "32 years is NOT a pre-teen"😅
Loved the video Jenna! Benson and Jack are adorable and hilarious 😂
That’s impressive ❤ sometimes your hands get tired and things happen be proud of what you accomplished! Looks beautiful! 🎉
Heyyy I’ll be in Alaska in august too ! Doing a cruise but flying in a few days early to hang out in anchorage for a bit. Went there for the first time 5 years ago and fell in love. I truly believe I will move there at some point in my life !

I hope you feel better soon! Alaska is incredible. I did 1400 miles in 12 days staying at hostels...by myself. Visited Anchorage, wasilla, talkeetna, Denali national Park, Nanana and did the whole kenai peninsula. Ate lunch on the exit glacier, went in a whale watching tour, hiked Denali national Park, met tons of cool people, saw incredible wildlife and ate great food. It's larger than life. You'll love it.
Ps. I rots recommended your channel to a friend of mine!!! We were t thrifting yesterday, and she loves knits, and wants to get interested in knitting or crocheting!!!! I said, this lady... you... totgot me into appreciation of a good knit!! (She found the dream sweater dress) 😄 👗
Jack's sweater is adorable!😊
You are so funny...without even trying....thanks for the uplift...😊❤
I really hope you feel better soon, Jenna. *Virtual hugs* I know nothing about Alaska other than the Cullens used to live there.
the table ahhhh 😍
I want to try this challenge. I crochet way more than you do, so I wonder how much I would get done in that time? I love these videos you make because it truly shows others how long it takes. No matter what, you made something useful, creative, and it's the only one like it! Well done!
Definitely been inspired to do this, starting now.
Honestly loved watching this because I feel like it takes me so long to crochet something because some of these people crochet so fast. I feel like 1. You did get a lot done.. and 2. It’s actually more realistic of how much you can get done.
Omg hi jenna i love your videos and the crochet videos are my favorite please keep making these videos ❤❤❤❤❤❤
So pretty!!
I love to crochet, since I retired I have more time to do more projects, I"m going to work on my first curtain with the granny square style, hope you are feeling better!
I like watching crochet videos while I crochet so I found ur videos and NEW SUBSCRIBER!
Love the new edits!
Good job Jenna ❤❤❤❤❤
This video makes me excited to move out of my dorm! So I can actually have space the space to put my sewing machine and all my art stuff!
Ok so this is my second time watching this the first it was just for time but this time I got inspired and started crocheting a granny square blanket like yours so thank you a lot for this idea
Ok I flipping love eclipse it is so good in my opinion
Alaska, you have to go on some sort of sled dog thing. We did an activity at a summer training place for the dogs and 12 dogs pull a 6 person golf cart around a mountain path. You get to see the puppies they've had during the summer and it was so fun! We ended up going back to see the start of the Iditarod race the following year and got to go on sleds with the dogs pulling at one of the homes of one of the racers. So fun!!!
I’ve been working on a granny square blanket periodically since December and have over 40 rows done and it’s only barely over 3ft x 3 ft😭
i love the twilight series commentary. i too have watched that while i've worked recently :P
