The post-explosion bomb-bom is hilarious and I love that because blooper is in a smaller container now, he looks real pissed about being stuck there
Those floating rocks were definitely a happy little accident that saved the day. The flower looks so innocent compared to boo tho, never thought it could be scarier.
The post explosion bobomb is the saddest (for my emotions) creation you've made. Great job on all these!
I know this seems random but with how many mario things he has made how cool would it be to see all of them brought together in one big diorama like piece.

The goombas are so delightfully grumpy!!! Aaa!!! And that boo turned out really beautiful with the white highlighting across the translucent base. Super “spectral” looking! Awesome work!
The only way to maybe improve on the Bob-Omb is to maybe have pieces of its body, specifically one with part of his eye, and the wind-up key from his back being scattered by the explosion...but just the pair of feets is very funny to see.

General rule of thumb on casting is vac for silicone and pressure for resin, vacuuming resin can have several adverse reactions with both the resin and the casted part itself.
@geminidragon33
Жыл бұрын
I was wondering about that...I've done dice in a pressure pot (thanks Rybonator!), but have never had bubbles "come back". EDIT: Listened again to when Adam was talking about bubbles coming back, but that was if the piece is removed before it cures (like before the first 12 to 24 hours). Makes more sense now - my bad for missing it! I still need a vacuum pot for making silicone molds, 'specially when I get to the point of selling my dice.
@braucsdaddy
Жыл бұрын
@@geminidragon33 bubbles can return in a pressure pot if the casting is not kept under pressure until fully cured due to the difference in mechanism of action between pressure and vacuum. Pressure squeezes and disperses bubbles and makes them incredibly small, they don’t actually disappear but instead become really small so you can’t see them. Vacuum removes the bubbles completely which of course is ideal but pulling a vacuum on a part can draw air out of the casted part thereby cracking and destroying the piece or in some instances due to the way resin sets under heat when you pull air out of it, sometimes it will get too hot and fully or partially set trapping any residual bubbles left in the first place.
@geminidragon33
Жыл бұрын
@@braucsdaddy All right...I've only seen folks who use vacuum chambers to get bubbles out of their mixed resin they're about to cast, but not actually casting the piece itself in its mold in a vacuum chamber. Have folks actually tried that...? I've also left dice and coaster molds to do their initial cure in my pressure pot (12-24 hours, depending on the resin I'm using), but then after that time frame have removed them from the pot, removed them from their molds, and let them sit for another 2-3 days to really fully cure. None of those pieces have any bubbles in them still...so when you say fully cured, are you talking about the first 12 to 24 hours, or that the item should stay in the sealed, pressurized pressure pot for the whole 2-3 days to fully cure? Tryin' to understand. 😁
@braucsdaddy

You seem to be doing it right, if you’re not seeing any bubbles then you should have a good time frame for holding a casting because you will different results from different types of resin.

@@NorthoftheBorder instead of using the deep set, slow cure resin (which is designed for very clear finished products) you could use a fast-set resin for debris and ground layers. I loved the "yoohoo" 😂. Drop the y and you are fine. "Oohoo" is correct and funnily enough it´s our word for "eagle owl". Don´t ask me why. It´s an ancient glue brand and back in the day they got their inspiration from nature a lot, especially birds. But about your fantastic little monsters, you could also make a night glow Boo using that translucent clay and mix it with a bit of strong night glow powder which is available in different colours. I just tried that for a galaxy project and made some tiny "moons" this way and their luminescence is incredicle, albeit short lived. But with something as big as Boo, I guess he could glow for 30 minutes or more. Just don´t use too much powder or the piece will crumble.

you have a umm... interesting grandma
I love the bob-omb, such a easy but clever idea
That jazz in the background makes this *that* much better.
I've always wondered what the origin of the "hitting things together until they're baked/primed/flattened" transition was

reminiscent of You Suck At Cooking
I love all of them especially the details of everything, I will say tho it would have been interesting to see you lean into that floating sand as if the blooper was disturbing the bottom would definitely be a cool look but not what you were going for I can see.
seeing those big round eyes on blooper at 3:58 made me want to see those evil characters in their super cute version :Dd good and evil twins :D
The flower could do double duty in a Little Shop of Horrors scene. Love your work!

You mean piranha plant?
This channel is the definition of BLURSED.. and I absolutely love everything about it! Keep it up man.
ngl all those floating rocks in the resin pour would look really cool for a character powering up and the ground breaking around them
You could make cute ones so easily as well. Very impressive
these are amazing. From all these realistic one Adam has been making i kinda want to see him make a realistic jabberwocky.

ooh that'd be epic tho
There are no Koopas, but a great artist can always add new masterpieces to a collection. Also, I didn't know how many tentacles the blooper had

No shy guy either
Man, i absolutely love your content!! You really are talented, and you have far more patience than i could ever dream of having for these things! Additionally, i absolutely ADORE the way you talk. Please never change
It would be so cool to see all your projects next to each other
13:18-my face if I haven’t had my coffee within the first half hour of waking up I love your editing and your art! Thank you for sharing the joy 🤩
He turns all the cutle little almost harmless things into scary realistic things truly talented
If these were for sale, I'd totally buy them! Also, missed an opportunity; should have stacked the Goombas on top of eachother. Other than that, great job! These are pretty cool!
Dude, watching you fail makes me feel so relieved sometimes. When I screw up a project, I feel really down about it and want to give up. I see you make mistakes but still end up with something really cool in the end. Sure, maybe it wasn’t what you intended, but the end result is still something amazing. It’s inspiring. It reminds me that nobody’s perfect. So thank you.
12:26 - When Super Mario meets Little Shop of Horrors. Brilliant work!
I love how you made it look like the realistic blooper is shaking a tiny tentacle fist in anger.
Out of all of them, blooper is one of the cutest ones
The flower was amazing… looking at it I would LOVE to see Audrey 2 from little shop of horrors!
12:05 well in Germany we actually pronounce UHU with the pronunciation of "U" In German which in english sounds like "oo" So in english you can think of it as "OoHOo" :D

That was the joke.
Blooper reminds me of the aliens from Independence Day 😉 ❤️ And Piranha Plant: FEED ME, SEYMOUR!
these are so insanely impressive!! i am in love!!! the talent is unreal
2:51 loving the usage of the pinch and roll
This idea would probably be too big, but now I kind of want to see a whole Toad laboratory with these monsters and the Mario and Luigi tanks combined into the lab together. They could be doing tests on the monsters or something.
