I understand having him look directly at the gingerbread man looks menacing, but could you imagine if he used his googly eyes to his advantage, and used it like a chameleon to look at the fleeing gingerbread cookie?
For anyone wondering, Adam saying Cookie Monster’s name is Sid isn’t just a bit. In a song that recounts his first time eating a cookie he says “Me think me name was Sid.” which I find interesting because maybe he’s been called Cookie Monster so much that he sometimes forgets his true name. There are probably more instances of his name being shown in Sesame Street lore but that’s the only one I know of.
I love especially how his feet don’t touch the ground. Suggests that he’s a child of his species and gives me a whole new head-canon of nightmare fuel. I’m impressed by the drama of the different gingerbread man poses - I’m now genuinely rooting for the brave one shouting at Sid, and at least one of the ones trying to escape.

Since the fur fabric was so annoying to work with I think better way to make a furry creature would be to make wefts from acrylic yarn. You brush out strands of the yarn with a wire pet brush and then glue the fibres into wefts, which are easier to manipulate and stick down with glue than the fabric. It's a technique used often by doll customisers to make the dolls hair. You can straighten the wefts with a hair straighteners on low heat, and style the fibres easily with water and a toothbrush. Anyway, I thought this sculpture was weirdly cute aha 🍪

@@mothra_mothra Hobby shops (or anywhere you can buy hobby supplies) that specialize in miniatures, model trains, and model cars carry the skinny masking tape. Tamiya is a well-known brand of hobby tools used for gunpla and historic vehicles. They make a variety of masking tapes ranging from 40mm wide all the way down to 1mm. The UV resin is likely another hobby brand and usually comes with the little handheld UV lamp you saw in this video. I know Greenstuff World makes resin kits that comes with the lamp, or you can buy the lamp separately. A more common device used are UV resin lamps used for doing nails at beauty salons (which are also great for curing 3D prints).

Fantastic build! I already laughed at the title and thumbnail I love it! One of the coolest builds I've seen in a while.
*FUN FACT:* Contrary to popular belief, even though he's known as The _"Cookie"_ Monster, he NEVER actually ate ANY cookies on _Sesame Street._ Instead what he actually ate was rice cakes, because the grease from the cookies would do damage to the fabric of the puppet...
I absolutely love how dynamic looking this scene is. So much action going on, and I love how you made each gingerbread man has a different character. Perfection.

This is your best one yet! so much going on in one piece, could look at it from every angle for another story
For the fur, you could have carefully snipped at the clay with a pair of scissors. That creates a sort of reasonable fur texture and it's considerably faster than the individual wormy deelies method you used.

My cousin loves sesame street, and even though this isn’t even really that scary, the notion of the cookies being alive, and Cookie Monster’s general indifference towards this matter just makes it creepy enough that I would feel bad about showing this to her.
