William, I’ve been watching you since the butter toast robot. I’ve never commented, but I’ve been here all along. My son was born this year on May 11th during my finals week. On May 19th I graduated in Mechanical Engineering, inspired by your videos. And on May 23rd I started my first career job as an engineer. Having a baby is extraordinarily stressful and terrifying, but I can honestly say it’s 100% worth it and it will all be ok no matter what stresses you have in your life. Good luck man! Considering the child will have to fight red devil in the battle bot arena in order to prove it's worth I don't think anything on the channel will be out of the ordinary.

Massive congratulations to both you and caretaker! This is a huge responsibility, but I'm sure you'll summon all the knowledge and experience you've gained in your life so far to shape this child into an awesome person. Yep, definitely won't leave them scarred and in therapy for the rest of their lives.

my favorite part of this is that not only did he make a 3D model of it, but he shared it, people with anxiety surrounding new places and experiences benefit from being able to map out the space before they go

Hey Will. New dad of 6 months here. You will never not be nervous. At all. No matter how many people you talk to, how much you prepare, how much you read, all of it. But the second you hold your kiddo in your arms for the first time it all goes away. You will be tired, and you will be stressed, and constantly feel like you're not sure what you're doing, but you figure it out pretty quickly. I know its scary, and your mind is probably racing constantly, but do what you can to remember to stop and breathe. Live in this moment, right now. You have the rest of your life to stress out about the rest. Much love to you and your family.

Came to say the same thing, new dad of 4 months, after the initial sleep deprivation stage, it all becomes surprisingly ok. You just know what to do and it all becomes amazing, I never wanted a child before, and now I can't imagine ever having that mindset. Congrats to all the new dads/soon to be dads

Also a new dad of 6month old here. One thing I'll add as well is that alot of people will say being a parent is the hardest job ever, how tough it is..etc. But what they don't tell you is that it's made up of really incredible and amazing days, and also some really hard and difficult days. So yes, while it is inherently a hard thing to exist as a new parent, it's not hard every waking moment like some people make it out to be. It's an even mix 👍

Man I was nervous to MEET my child 😂 It was an emergency C-section and I didn't have time to get into the OR with them so I just walked into a room and met my newborn. And then promptly got chastised by the nurses for letting her suck my finger because I have germs 😂

New parent here. About the same age as you guys. Having a kid is an incredible experience. It opens your mind and your life in ways you never thought possible. Such an exciting time.

I built a computer using parts that were made is 97. It has two functions. 1. It can send a command to a homemade board that will trigger a switch to cook toast (or whatever you wanna cook idk). 2. It will gaslight you for 30 minutes. You can’t turn it off. You can unplug it but it has a inbuilt battery that lasts up to 50-60 minutes. I know it’s too late but I’m making a video on it for the boys.

Plus I've had a lot of friends over the years who definitely should not have kids, but they've actually turned out to be decent parents. It will take some adjusting as it's a change in life, but the hardest part is going to be the lack of sleep those first few years. You're going to be a good dad. You have an incredible wife there by your side. If it's stressing you out just take a deep breath and tell yourself "we got this."
