Hollywood Gave Me $100 To Remake Their Movie
Ғылым және технология
This video is Sponsored by Universal Pictures
#NobodyMovie is On Demand April 16: www.uwatch.com/nobody
Check out their new film Nobody starring Emmy winner Bob Odenkirk as Hutch Mansell, an underestimated and overlooked dad and husband, taking life's indignities on the chin and never pushing back. A nobody. When two thieves break into his suburban home one night, Hutch declines to defend himself or his family, hoping to prevent serious violence. His teenage son, Blake, is disappointed in him and his wife, Becca, seems to pull only further away. The aftermath of the incident strikes a match to Hutch's long-simmering rage, triggering dormant instincts and propelling him on a brutal path that will surface dark secrets and lethal skills. In a barrage of fists, gunfire and squealing tires, Hutch must save his family from a dangerous adversary --and ensure that he will never be underestimated as a nobody again.

This is a really good way to show cost/give perspective. The one thing not factored in was hours. The cost often goes to paying people to spend the hours on things like props, costumes, sets, and digital afterwork. The tedious work like making a bunch of breakaway plates costs the materials and hours. William doing it himself could save costs bc he's making everything he's not paying anyone to make things.

You forgot the one key rule about breakaway tables, the one trick the WWE uses on them for safety: you cut halfway through the table in the middle to give it a place to break. If you dont give it an easy place for it to snap on the top, the most likely place to break first is the legs of the table, which generally leads to a bad time.
@cloudsteele1989
3 жыл бұрын
He tried that, just not well enough. He said he scored the table in multiple places so it was pretty thin and should have broken easier.
@rumham7631
3 жыл бұрын
@@cloudsteele1989 i think scoring it in multiple places may actually be a bad idea, if you were to do 1 really deep score in the center, there is only 1 point of failure and you basically guarantee that it is going to break at that specific spot.
@SgtLion
3 жыл бұрын
Honestly the best way would be to cut through it entirely and put a couple spots of glue to make it as tenuous as possible.
@annaanna6411
3 жыл бұрын
Honestly I think a bigger table top would have helped too. You want something where the impact force isn't well diverted over the legs. Plus the way he jumped the direction of the force wasn't normal to the table top thus not leading to the top breaking but instead shifting. So no wonder the legs just snapped off, considering he said he used hot glue.
