This was awesome! Congratulations!! But PLEASE do not leave your wallet in your car!! I know a couple people who honestly thought it was OK, due to feeling it was safe, and had car and wallet stolen.

I am not a horse person but my wife has been all her life. Unfortunately she has been disabled since childhood and can't ride anymore. When she was small her mother gave her the choice between riding lessons and ballet. For my wife it was horses for her, from her first ride as a toddler on a pony, till now as a 69 year old. She tells me you are living the life she dreamed of having... oddly enough she is about your size and coloring. My lady sometimes cries while she watches you but she never misses your videos since she discovered you. Hurts to see her tears but while she is crying she is also smiling. In a way your channel is a gift to my wife who could not have even a small bit of her dream without channels like yours. I may never comment again but know, there is a woman out there who knows you are the luckiest person in the whole world. My wife is a scientist, world traveler and scholar but all she really ever wanted was a horse and a peaceful life with her animals.

I am so excited that you were able to get Sleeping Beauty. I was holding my breath when she was in the ring and was so afraid that you wouldn't get her. When you announced that you did I actually jumped up in joy and laughing as if she were my purchase. You two looked so good together. I am anxious to see you girls in action like we have in other video's you have of the other horses. I fell in love with the gypsy horse that had the long, long black and white mane. I only saw it when it was being ridden outside that one time. It would've looked good beside Lumier ( sp ) . Anxious to see your next video of when you get her home and hopefully it will be tonight. I absolutely LOVE Beauty's markings. Pinto markings are the bomb, but I love the smokey grey in spots and the wispy edges to some of them. It's like a strong wind came up and she's blowing in the breeze. When you were checking out her legs... the markings on her front right almost looked like bars! too cool. Beauty is a Looker! It's nice that she'll be keeping a name she's already familiar with (it does fit her). Also, as the fillies grow up there will be a bit more equity between the mares and geldings in the herd.

I especially like the way she holds her head! She is neither dead-headed nor too high-headed. She is gentle but not docile, lively but not nervous at all. My Dad & my horse gurus would most certainly agree.❤

When I was in FFA I got to bond with horses for two day at an auction. I would make sure they had good clean water and that they were clean for the auction. I bonded with this gelding and he even let me love on him a lot; even to the point I could give tons of back scratches. The owner told me he usually isn’t that friendly with people. I so wanted to buy him but we didn’t have enough money to care for a horse. This video reminds me so much of that time.

There were a lot of Amish people at that auction. I have often seen them in our Walmart Stores locally as well as Sheetz. They are not allowed to drive vehicles; however, they can ride in vehicles. They just hire a driver. I wonder what those men think of the scantily clothed girls who come into the Walmart when their women and girls have extremely modest clothing. Several Amish teenagers were next to my car when I was pumping gas at Sheetz last summer so I struck up a conversation with them. It was interesting. I enjoyed the interaction.

There were a lot of gorgeous horses and ponies there and the auction looked well run and a good standard. That 17,000$ horse before Beauty was a stunner. That Auction Adventure was so interesting and so much fun seeing everything going on. So many beautiful horses. I enjoyed seeing the riders display the horses too.

In Texas we have a saying about folks like you; it goes something like this; someone will ask me what I think about you and my reply is; "she's as real as they come." Now why do I say that and having never met you how can I judge you that way? Well, as a new subscriber to your channel, a while back I was watching one of your auction videos and in that video you were looking at horses in the middle of a really muddy road and someone came up to you with their dog and the dog jumped up on you and got muddy paw prints all over the front of your jeans and you just blew that off and was loving all over that dog like no big deal. Then proceeded to wear them dirty, muddy jeans the rest of the auction in front of everybody. At 78 years young I'm a fair judge of character and you definitely are, "as real as they come". As happy as I am for you, I'm even more excited for Beauty. I know she's going to a great place, where she'll be loved and well taken care of. Unfortunately not all those horse will end up in a place where they'll be respected, shown patience, or kindness. Im sorry but my heart is heavy these days. A few months back 36 horses were removed from the possession of a veterinarian... A VET... who was allowing the horses to starve to death. The remains of 3 horses were found in the pens with the live horses. Many horses were young, some with foals by their sides. A local rescue took in all 36, and with the help of volunteers and donations has been able to reverse much of the physical damage, and their working on the psychological. This past Friday a court order was sent to the rescue, and all 36 horses are to auctioned Tuesday. March 12th in Wahoo Ne. The rescue has been trying to raise as much money as possible, so they can buy back the horses, and find good homes for them rather than allow the slaughter house buyers to purchase them. As if that wasn't enough of a blow, the courts also released the Vet, with only a slap on the wrist. They aren't allowed to own horses for one year... thats it! No penalties, no jail time, and the abity to do it all again after one year. So seeing this beautiful girl become yours, makes me thankful there are people like you in this world. And I am sending prayers that our 36 will touch the hearts of people like you, and they find kind loving homes because they deserve nothing less. 😢❤🐎🐎🐎❤

What a horrific story. Maybe "Horseplus" can help this other rescue in getting these horses back? (look up Horse Plus Humane Society on youtube if you dont know it, it's a rescue that at times helps other rescues and maybe with knowing this story they will help)

What a horrific situation for the horses! I wonder that the situation went on long enough for them to be in bad shape, some even dying. As for the vet, maybe contact the Animal Legal Defense Fund and see what they might be able to do to get the vet board to look into his credentials.

@@alycewich4472 I agree. When they came down with that decision, it was as if the system said what he put these horses through was ok. That neglecting these beautiful animals was tolerable... there aren't words to describe all the emotions I've felt.

OMG, Shae, I couldn't be more excited! What a seemingly perfect horse for the FreeSpirit fam! I would have brought her home too, or the Gypsy with the practically floor-length mane! Wow, a LOT of gorgeous horses there. When I'm ready to buy, might have to head south of the border to Ohio! Can't wait for Beauty to get more screen time (oh, and I bet Kyle will loooove her!). 💜🇨🇦

You visit so many auctions and see and document so many horses so could do another type of video that may be helpful to many people. Perhaps you could also document some specific problems you find in detail with close-ups. Save the video clips off from several auctions. Show the problem, explain it in detail, show a comparison to a healthy horse(s), and maybe even get a vet friend or a vlogger to join you in giving more in-depth info. It would be kind of like a training video on finding horse problems vs. a healthy horse.
