i love shrimp tempura so much there's this awesome sushi place near me and my fav roll of theirs has a piece of shrimp tempura in it along with tuna and salmon. Great video as always Super

When the tail shell is crispy from being fried its actually really good. Try it, its like a natural shrimp chip

You have to make sure to break the connective tissues, after you score the shrimp if not, it's going to curl up

7 years ago I fried this ebi tempura from 1230HRS untill 2100HRS straight because of nons stop Chinese New Year celebrations in that day…today I’m no longer working in a restaurant but my body still remember on how to cook tempura menu😭😭

Dude, Soya sauce is not the right choice for tempura, think about it, you still want to taste the vegetables or shrimp you deep fry, so the Japanese use something called tentsuyu that is less salty, more broth like sauce especially for tempura

@@quartzskull8772 shrimp tempura is dipped in either a pinch of salt or tentsuyu, i would say a 90% of japanese use these two, but ofc you can dip in any sauce you want, like mayonnaise, curry sauce, sichuan sauce
