As a phlebotomist who's been drawing patients blood work for the past 30 years. I've come across some patients who are nervous, scared & faint. I've learned to talk to them about other things that's happening. It's my way of distracting them. Some still feel weird but most make it through. I don't like having my blood drawn coz I don't have good veins. I'm glad you finally got it done. It's our river of life. It says alot of what's going on with us. Thank you for sharing. You are a blessing to many folks. I pray for good health and healing in your body in Jesus name ☝🏽❤️🙏🏽

I also don't like when parents use me as a punishment " If you don't behave I'm gonna have her "poke you with the needle'. That's were trauma comes from! Anxiety is a real thing. I [unknowingly] had it even before it was a "THING"...just thought thought I was weak. I refused to get on an antidepressant for years as my Dr recommended because I had never been depressed. But when he finally convinced me that would cure Anxiety- I discovered he was right.

@ellenadams5650 We need to value and care for a whole person including mental health. So many physical health problems can be attributed to issues like anxiety and depression. It's unfortunate that it's taken so long for the medical community and the world at large to acknowledge and help treat people.

Candybell3214, I have had over 100 plus surgeries and procedures since birth. There is only one way to stop depression which is stop keeping God out of one’s life. If one asks God to help you by praying to God, by reading the greatest love letter to humanity the Sacred Scriptures the Holy Bible and ask God to forgive one of our sinfulness. I promise you that ones depression or any of problem God can and will fix if one Loves God as much as he loves us. You’re problem or illness my not go away but God will give one the tools to make you happy, joyful and at peace inside one’s soul, body and mind. Satan does want any of us to rely upon God for everlasting happiness, joy and peace. God loves us so much that he wants all of us to be in Heaven with him for all eternity. But if we follow the world and Satan our happiness, joy or peace will be very brief. If one forgoes the world and realize on God alone the joy, peace and happiness will shine upon us with God’s graces and blessings. Again, completes the Three Pillars the God asks us to do daily which are prayer, Penance by (obeying his 10 Commandments ) disobedience to God’s Word and will and study and know the Catholic Faith which is the only Universal Truth that Jesus Christ founded and set forth through his Apostles JohnTheBaptist.us

We have been praying and praying for God to raise her up. We’re getting there. I’m going to be praying for you! You always make me smile and I love your spirit! You are the sweetest, most precious man Al. Get better soon, and we miss your yard videos and to hear who you are going to bless next. One thing I noticed is that you do not have much fat on your body. One doctor that examined Bruce Lee, martial artist, said he died from lake of fat and too much exercise. Eat more butter and healthy fats and increase "complex" carbohydrates, as in broccoli, and other cruciferous vegetables. That is what my dietician says.

Maybe also, this was what had to be done to bring more awareness to mental issues/challenges that not many are taking seriously. He should document the whole process to get a book in the making to help others overcome this disease because that is what it is. Our leaders also need to provide more help to those suffering. It is a hard fight. I see my loved one struggle every day.

Hunny, mental health is so important. It’s so hard to dig yourself out. I’m autistic and struggle with anxiety and depression daily, but you went through very traumatic things very quickly. Especially with your daughter. That’s TERRIFYING. Everything you just went through. The world needs you here. You are changing the world for so many people, but it’s okay to struggle. It’s human to struggle, but the absolutely incredible thing is you recognized that, and are doing so wonderfully to get back to who you want to be. Don’t hold that shht in. That’s what brings it all on so heavily, so quickly. Talking about struggle like this is incredible, and so helpful. After all you do for others, you deserve the happiness and content too. Don’t forget to take time for yourself too. Acts of service are important, but so is taking care of yourself and how you are feeling. ❤ I’m so proud of you and your family.

I get to where I fear leaving the house and will isolate for months sometimes. I manage my symptoms with antidepressants and antipsychotics and have been doing well again for about a year. It's so important to keep busy and have things to do and look forward to, at least for me. I'm am happy you are doing better. Don't beat yourself up. Embrace your whole self as even our "faults" make us who we are. You are a positive, bright individual with a beautiful family. And I believe you are correct. These trials you are going through are for a reason and will make you a stronger, even more compassionate person. These videos you post explaining your situation can be great therapy too - not just for you but the people who watch them. I hope it helps and you continue doing your thing. I suffered from anxiety so much that I had to force myself just to go to the grocery store. I know some people don't believe in the Lord but I do and he told me that the devil was trying to steal my joy. It wasn't an audible voice it was just something that popped in my head and I know it was the Lord. It changed my out look and I hardly ever have anxiety attacks anymore. I pray a lot and the more I pray for others the smaller my problems seem. I'm so glad you're doing better not just for you but also for your beautiful family. May God bless and keep you always..

3 years ago I had a minor stroke. Then 2 months later my heart started racing with afib after testing positive with Covid. I was in the exact place you found yourself. Afraid to be alone and wanting to stay home. A year later I found you on KZread. And since I love mowing, I totally enjoyed your videos. I watch your videos all the time now. It helped me thru my weird feelings I have in my head on occasions. The videos calm me down and I get my mind off of feeling weird. Thank you for sharing and I hope you get back to 100%. When I went into that rabbit hole I almost didn't make it back. May I please share with you some instructions my doctor gave me. Simply when you notice your mind is dwelling on negative thoughts, immediately turn them around and recall something that made you laugh, that made you happy. During challenging moments, deep breathe and blow out slowly. Most importantly, hold your loved one close, they are hurting with you. We love you, Al. Take care and we'll see you soon.

Coming here from your main channel. Thanks for the invite to view this testimony. What a trial. So, glad that God allowed you to get past this physical, emotiona,l spiritual trial. Sometimes, stepping away from a usual routine is an opportunity for God to enter into your life more profoundly. Recall and reflect upon the life of Job. Personally, I daily struggle with depression and the feeling of isolation. I know myself to be an introvert, so much so that I will not seek friendship from anyone. Best time for me, when I am not working, is time in solitary prayer, visiting cemeteries, and taking care of my feline community of rescued cats. And, knowing that Jesus is my best friend, I am NEVER alone. This video is very insightful and happy to learn of your good medical test results. Praise God!!! I bet your subscribers are PRAYING for the complete restoration of your overall health. And, the health of all your loved ones. My heartfelt gratitude for your strength and for this video. Your subscribers love you. But, God loves you more. 🙏🙏🙏❤

Love your work Al. ❤ I’m an EAP clinician and I see hundreds of people in the clinic with anxiety, including health anxiety. I’m so stoked for you that you’ve found a way through to do something about it. It’s so important to get your health checked out and attend to what is needed. Do everything you can to calm down your autonomic nervous system and set yourself up with a green prescription of good food, sleep, nutrition, exercise and someone to talk to everyday about how you’re feeling. It will help. You’ve got this Al, you’ll get through it. You’re already helping people by sharing your lived experiences about anxiety to inspire others to do something about their anxiety too. ❤

Thank you for sharing. Sometimes our guardians, guides and ministering angels give us many signs that we need a time out. I am curious about your age, as I believe 28 is the first year of true adult life, and ages 26-29 are the toughest self examination years. Also, you are obviously a very sensitive being and full of compassion for others; finding the compassion for ourselves, and self love is a lifetime work. When difficult thoughts take up too much time and FEAR (False Evidence Appearing Real) decreases our sense of well being, keeping your hands busy is the wisest thing you can do. Games, puzzles, and I love watching Lego Masters. As you engage in a reset, I can see you fine tuning what is right for you, as an individual. Be well and have a prosperous and abundant 2024.

Two of my grandchildren have difficulty with the thought that their doctors visit may include needles. I have zero problems with them, I once had to have a skin cancer removed from my leg, the nurse was going to have me lie down, I told her no, I wanted to watch and the doctor said I could. Also no matter how gross something looked or smelled I didn’t gag. Well the no gag thing is gone. I can gag at almost everything now, but needles still don’t bother me, and I have a suggestion Al, I have seen you get stung by many bees, I’ve seen you pick up a snake….that is something I’ll never ever do in my lifetime, but as far as needles and bees, try and think to yourself that if you can handle a bee sting which is actually going to hurt really badly, that you can handle a small stick of a needle which will only last a very few seconds. I’m a diabetic, my doctor had me on Ozempic for awhile, I didn’t like the side effects and went off it pretty quickly, but I have to say that the needle on that syringe was the smallest I’ve ever seen and I didn’t see how there could possibly be a channel inside it to carry the medication, but there was. Too bad every needle isn’t that small. I’m guessing the needles diameter was a fourth the size of an eyelash! Doctors should start requesting those! All this being said, I’m glad to hear that you’re doing better, the family is doing good and your daughter is well! 🙏🏻

My anxiety stems from abuse as a near baby. I hid every time ppl came into the house. My parents didn’t protect me. I had an incident from dizziness at the gym too. I was able to get past it in three days. I have PTSD for abuses women endure from men. I had one anxiety attack for fear getting ill as I had recovered from a past serious illness. I can feel it starting at times. Sameness is good for me. Gym, word games, watching the same TV programs. Routine is good. My dreams abuse me nightly. Hearing abt ur anxiety gives me some great empathy. It’s hard on ppl around u bc they can’t fully understand. Happy u got the blood work. Wear an emergency alert if necessary. Our brains love to play games.

It’s NOT “all in your head.” I used to think that until I went through it myself and realized I could not control it myself. I lost my husband of 52 years last year and didn’t realize I was going through depression until I was going day after day, not getting out of my chair and letting my housework go. So glad you pushed through your terrible fear of getting labs done and hope this helps you get back to where you want to be. ❣️

Al, you are not alone. Ive been struggling for over a year with this very thing and people dont understand that it can be almost crippling. It can feel impossible to pull yourself out of, but weekly therapy has helped some. Thanks for sharing this part of your struggle. It helps many of us feel like we are not going through this alone.❤

This helped me so much. I’ve been going through this very same thing since Oct 23 surrounding medical issues. I feel like I’m 80% through it. Def tough. Our mind can take us down to deep dark places if we let it. I keep fighting and glad to see you do too. Hang in there brother .
