**Elderly SCARED** to Answer Door After ACCIDENT, then CRIES for FREE Lawn Mowing!

#cjmowing We found this property quickly in our search. It stood out in the neighborhood looking to be nearly abandoned and overgrown. By chance neighbors were outside working on their jeep and we asked about the property. They informed us that an older lady lived in the home so we headed directly across the street to knock on the door. To our surprise the lady was home but answered through her window blinds stating that she had been in an accident and was unable to answer the door.
After a brief conversation she was more than thankful and agreed for us to mow her lawn for free wishing us a happy holiday! While mowing we encountered interesting situations as we usually do to include a neighbor who stopped by to tell us his own story and watch us mow this property as he was in shock that we were willing to get the property under control that he said hadn't been mowed in nearly 2 years. This video documents the before, during and after footage as well as all people we come in contact with along the way. We hope you all enjoy this video.

It’s not the neighbors responsibility to do others lawns if they can’t keep up with it for one reason or another. It’s possible the neighbors have limited capabilities as well. And sometimes if you help out then they expect it all the time & it’s hard enough keeping up with your yard never mind another yard. It’s wonderful that there are companies out there that do these free makeovers god bless all of them. You do a great job keep up your blessings to others.

Our former house had a mother and adult son who lived next to us. She was in renial failure, and he was fighting cancer for the last 4th time. Both my husband and I are disabled but we cut their yard and planted flowers and a few vegetables in a raised bed's for them. We lost our home to an attic fire, and she passed the same day. We live about 10 miles from him now, but we still go over there every couple of weeks and mow because he just can't do it as he is at the end stage and receives hospice care at home. He always tries to give us money, but even though we could use it, we refuse. It is just the right thing to do.

I don't understand how neighbors could just ignore her like that. I'd be stopping by to check on her everyday to see if she needed anything, bringing meals and at least attempt to attack that yard. My 80 yr neighbor asked me if I could reattach a board that fell off her deck fence last week because she knows I'm here for her. I attached that board and tightened up any other loose things on her deck. It cost me a whole 24 screws and maybe 20 minutes. The "thank you" and big smile from her is the best reward! Its not the neighbour's responsibility either, they then will become taken advantage of by the lady home owner. And she will cuss them if they ever stopped. Its soley the lady home owners responsibility no one elses. If she was nice, she could ask, but her issue is chronic.

I don't know if you realize this but when you said that the neighbor man could shut up and go back home and then your other sentence about how much you appreciate the help you give the people especially older people well I'm here to tell you that he gave help to that neighbor who wouldn't shut up by taking some time out of what he was doing and listening to him. There are so many older people in the world that don't get spoken to you for days at a time much less than having someone to speak to, just like the lady inside this house! If she truly had an accident, I wonder if she is eating nutritiously or even has food in her house! If you have an injury you need to have proper food to create a healing for those wounds and if there is no food there is no healing! Maybe next time when you are out and about and you see an older person and you just get a gut feeling, please, talk to them, ask how they are, compliment them perhaps on what they are wearing, heck, even their glasses! Joke about how hot the weather is even with snow on the ground... anything to make them smile or laugh. I feel as though I have failed if I don't make at least one person smile, grin or laugh when I go out!

Our neighbor was raising their 3 grandchildren, then the husband passed away.. my daddy mowed their yard after that, and my mother kept them supplied with garden veggies, also went over and canned with her, I know that was as important as anything, just for the companionship.. I’m 70, now, and have had 4 stroke. I’m not effected too much, but can’t drive, anymore. My nephew has moved in and does so much for me.. with his job, he just doesn’t have the time. But he takes care of so much.. so grateful for him.. this was a major blessing for her ❤️❤️

You have to push through it or you will stay stuck in a situation that can last the rest of your life because you choose to allow it!

I’m that neighbor who welcomes new neighbors, drops off holiday neighbor gifts, I help when I’m able and even helped a neighbor with a funeral for his wife.
