the roof type they install has a long design life and I'm assuming they trust their workmanship so much they give a lifetime warranty similar to how toyota gives 100,000 miles warranty with a yearly service. They know what they are doing @@emagotis

​@@Azzen234 This video made maybe 1800 - 2400 usd until now, and that might be a generous estimate depending on what kind of advertisements run on this type of video. KZread ads alone are definitely not paying for this roof. Especially if you average with their views on less performing videos. (That is if KZread started monetizing their channel yet, they only just took off and you need a minimum amount of watch time to become eligible for monetization) So it's gonna take a while for them, building up the channel and selling merchandise and getting some good jobs off of this before they will (most probably) start to profit from it. Which is totally deserved. :)

Earning a little money from KZread, putting your company name out there, advertising the products that are being used on your projects, and helping people who are down on their luck is a win-win situation for you guys. i am a roofer from lithuania,also have my own youtube chanel.you are doing grate job.but in my country you need to use scafolding for your own safety.😅

I recently turned 40 and to retire do to a minor stroke. I was once a chef and restaurant owner. I've recently discovered that my little town needs alot of help. So im currently teaming up with my buddy who owns a construction company. We hope that oneday were able to help people like this as well.

I worked with an old vet biker until just recently when he left his position because the company hadn’t given him a raise in years . He was the kindest dude at work, one of the only guys I really got along with, and we had all the same political views so we would just complain about Trudeau haha. I never saw him cry but I get the feeling he could be a big softie as well. Bikers are great people .

I wish the people we paid to do our house had done such a great job. They crowbarred up the skylights to put shingles underneath and they never caulked, so the room is like a cold place in the winter. Had no success in getting them to redo it properly.

This works twofold, it lets you give back to your community, so somebody gets much needed work done for free, but secondly, it shows to the rest of the population, just how good your work is. Thus generating more work for you and then round it goes.

It doesn't have to be a new roof, just a smile and asking someone who looks like they are having a bad day if they need someone to talk to. I'm an old guy, (76) and a DYIer. I've put on a few corrugated steel roofs, (barns and such) and about 5 standing seam roofs, (doing another in about 6 months on a small guest cottage I'm building). Standing seams are a bit "nicer" but this looks great. Great guys to do this for these folks. You could tell the woman and man couldn't believe that they were really going to get this for free. They felt that there HAD to be a catch. The scammers out there have made us not believe in folks. Great of you guys to help people believe again that there ARE good people out there. I make things for folks all the time, and never charge a dime. It is something that makes one feel good to help others.

Their gratitude is better 5ish money. You see the happiness on their faces. 👍👍👍💗💗💗💗

Generally speaking, people who have nothing find it difficult to accept gifts, because there's the feeling that it should be repaid. People with a sense of entitlement don't understand that.

I don't think that's necessarily true. I would say what is true is they aren't used to being in a generous community. When I started going to a non-denominational church I too was never used to being given anything out of kindness. I was very uncomfortable that people wanted to treat me to lunch or dinner just purely out of love. It took me awhile to get used to that and understand it's their way of showing love to me. In return I now try to do it for others when I can. Rudan is doing what they can to love their community and probably get a nice tax break and content at the same time. I love their heart behind it and it's great they are using taxes and KZread to help others out. That's what community is all about!

I learnt to accept gifts, in some cultures it can cause serious offence. So accept with gratitude, if this was in Australia we would give them a carton of beer as a thank you

What you're doing is amazing. I love watching videos like this. We had a metal roof put on our house a couple years ago, and they put it over the existing roof like you did. Not only is it quieter, but it keeps the house warmer in the winter, and cooler in the summer. Then noticed it in the energy bill. Keep spreading the love, and stay safe.

yeah!! I'd noticed that in these videos of theirs and was quite puzzled at first .. but that right there definitely makes *so much* sense! I wonder if they can do that over a slate roof? @RUDANROOFING, I hope so! I hope you or someone you know could do this kind of thing for my dad. Pleeeeeeeease?

Sometimes you do for others, knowing you only get one thing in return. A good soul.

What you did for this older couple was so kind and frankly astounding. Giving back is not done so much anymore. My husband used to do roofing, and it does take a physical toll on you after some years. I respect so much what you are doing. I love the tile look instead of the plain straight look. What a marvellous gesture and clearly your hearts are in the right place. In the UK we still use concrete and slate tiles which are fantastic. But I love that roofing system. So light and quick to install. I wonder if it doesn’t meet UK building regulations ? Shame if that’s the case as I’d have it in a heartbeat
