I Didn't Know Kenyans Were This Friendly! (#58)
While walking around Nairobi, I was suddenly accused of having dirty shoes. There was only one solution: sit down and have them shined by some friendly Kenyans. During the conversation in Swahili that followed, I would finally let everyone know what my real job was.

What nice people, and a good sense of humour.
You went to the right side of Nairobi.
I love this 😂😂.
Been to Kenya many times. This is what I’ve always found. Great people
They were so amused how good you are in swahili, and the 'nauza bangi' phrase is hilarious and really had you connected, welcome to Kenya cheers.
I went to Kenya in 2017 and the people there were so lovely and genuine. I’m from the U.K. and a lot of people here are nowhere near as friendly. They seem to be more reserved and keep to themselves more, but in Kenya people were a lot more open
Man her customer service was A+++++++++++++❤️❤️❤️❤️💯 I need to find her when I come to Nairobi again lol
You are so charming and put people at ease. It says a lot when you are so passionate that you take the time to not only learn the language but also dialects. Through you, I have been inspired to learn this swahili and hope to one day travel to Africa and put it in to practise.
