Huku kwetu Limuru kumejaa refugees from especially from somalia ndio wengi na wako na pesa some of them wanabuy IDs as low as 10k, congolese, burundians,rwandans, south sudanese na ugandans. Ukienda Nairobi adi they're hawking out in the open. One of these fine days tutafirwa na hawa watu adi tutii. Better Magufuli aliwakataa these Trojan horses in Tanzania.

You mentioned in the other comment that Uhuru should be taken to court for signing that refugees act into law without consulting Kenyans, but now you see that we have a president who is actually using the very same Somalis to take over key dockets in government, and with a judiciary as corrupt as it is, are the courts really going to work? How do we expect a court system that helped rig Ruto into power at the highest level, follow through on this issue? I won't lie..sometimes I wonder if Kenya will resort to xenophobic attacks against Somalis because the very same people who are supposed to be looking out for the interests of wananchi (immigration and other govt officials) are the same ones taking bribes to allow these guys to infiltrate our society.

Very sad. 1963 tukipata independence kikuyus tulikuwa 51% of Kenya's population. Hatuzaani. In 2009 tulikuwa 1.5 million mbele ya waluhya, census ya 2019 tulikuwa only slightly 500k more than them. somalis nao wameongezeka from 800k in 1999 to 2.7 in 2019. Sisi tumepungua from 51% to 17%. By 2039 somalis watatupita 😭😭😭😭

Kikuyu women are too heavily burdened with no support system they can't agree to have more than 2 kids ,this Somali women don't have any burden if they do their religion is against them doing anything else besides giving birth to new members that's how they spread their religion not by preaching by giving birth to their members ,so the men are very committed to those children, which gikuyu man is committed to increasing our numbers like our ancestors? Wakikuyu ni untrustworthy na wezi tupu. A neighbour of mine alikuwa anafanya kazi ka tout aliambiwa na dem fulani bado tu jirani yeye ni agent anaeza mpeleka Dubai job ya security atafute 200k. Jamaa alikuwa na 80k , mamake who's a single mother akauza ng'ombe yao hybrid 120k. Kila kitu ikapangwa, siku ya kusafiri huyu dem wa kupelekana Dubai akaenda missing in action. That was in 2018. Adi wa leo hatujui huyo dem agent mwitu alienda wapi. Enemy number one mkikuyu ni fellow kikuyu. And that is how we're going to perish as a community.

Something very serious happened to us as a community either during, and/or after colonialism. We used to be a strong group of people who looked out for each other. Now we've let greed, selfishness and the love of money destroy us. I'm aware that Moi had a hand in having illicit brews destroy our community with alcoholism, and that Uhuru and other corrupt immigration officials allowed Somalis to come into Kenya in huge numbers and set up all these businesses that engage in illegal activities like money laundering, but the question is, how do we start fixing our community? After we are done complaining about how much land the Somalis are buying upcountry and how they are pushing us out of the CBD, what practical steps are we going to take to fix the issues in our community like rampant single motherhood, alcoholism among the men, abortions, loss of culture, etc? This is the conversation we need to be having!

After 1982 coup attempt, Moi knew very well that the greatest threat to his presidency is kikuyus. He is came up with a project dubbed "punda itafikia farasi". The idea was to tame kikuyus.
