Actually WEB DuBois himself, after whom the road is named, said it as DuBois (he pronounced the s). He said that the Frenchman who had raped his grandmother did not seek her consent and he therefore felt no obligation to respect the French pronunciation of a name foisted on his ancestors. Ironically when those who have no background in French therefore say it in the way Dolphine does they are pronouncing it as the man after whom the road is named did.

I appreciate your viewpoint but you seem to underestimate Kenyan workers. You also seem to ignore their capacity to organise through SACCOS, Kenya actually, leads many African countries in this area. In spite of the challenges, I have a very positive outlook that Kenya or even E. African countries can reproduce Chinese successes here at home. I don't know your experience but I have seen African workers making clothes of very high quality for export, I have seen the same quality in furniture. The government can do its part, but we shall not leave everything at the mercy of the government. We are African, and patriotic to our regions or countries, we are aware of colonial history and its economic / psychological implications. These heritage my friend together with the education, energy, resourcefulness of our people are powerful forces that I have no doubt will drive us to higher levels of econ. development.* *There are many of us who are looking to invest, create business opportunities for our people even under current circumstances where foreigners have a temporary advantage. The political climate will change with time and we shall outwit these foreigners' game plans. I am a very strong believer in the Kenyan worker: I and others who love Africa will support them in this direction.* 😊
The mall is so smart and big
Thanks

This is inflation if analysed well. We might think it has a positive impact on the economy but it is economic espionage. So many people are going to lose their work, especially those in Kamukunji et al. Wait for a few months or weeks, businesses will close down due to this CSQ.

We need a China Mall in Mombasa too.
Good story line ... to improve, focus your content on the topic and show viewers what is relevant with systematic clarity.
Kamkunji,Dubois, nyanakima, and Eastleigh all sell the same crappie shit or worse quality at rip-off prices, but here there is variety at least. Personally, 80% of the stuff here is not for my taste. However, it saves you the haggling of not to be ripped off in other places
On the TV last night, the local traders were up in arms about this place, saying they couldn't complete with the prices.
We went today waaah u couldn't stand we had to leave the place...it was so much suffocating
Aki Dolphine, this one...
For me it's not more about lower prices but variety. I hate being restricted as to what I can buy
Isn't this the same concept of House of Leather?
I’m in Qatar but I can say this mall is awosome is an international
Kenyans should protest to have to mall reopen with immediate effect

Not pronounced as Du-boi but Du-bwa. -ois is pronounced as wa in French. Moi pronounced as mwa, fois pronounced as fwa, trois pronounced as trwa, loin pronounced as lwa, etc.

So not only the chinese stealing from the Kenyans with their cheap prices now it's the French stealing roads.
@naliaka9318

Actually WEB DuBois himself, after whom the road is named, said it as DuBois (he pronounced the s). He said that the Frenchman who had raped his grandmother did not seek her consent and he therefore felt no obligation to respect the French pronunciation of a name foisted on his ancestors. Ironically when those who have no background in French therefore say it in the way Dolphine does they are pronouncing it as the man after whom the road is named did.
that was a fishing lure for deep sea fishing not key holder aki
