The difference is absolutely magnificent, your hair is inspiring. Personally (having 4C hair myself) I've never felt that a wash n go was for me and would EVER be for me but seeing how much progress you've made with it I truly feel hopeful about it 😄. TYSM btw.

you should do a reaction to your star puppy vs shrinkage videos to see what you still think isn't as bad or is a good idea you might still try and what things are just a NO. I think it would be very very educational and could make you proud of how far you have come

I love you fro! I also have 4C/80% shrinkage but extremely high density. The last time I did finger coils it took 6 hours. I now just wash, section, add gel and kinda just rake my fingers through it and calling it a day 😩 I don’t ever have defined curls but I’ve come to embrace that. You really have been an inspiration to me to wear my hair as is!

Also, I'm am so proud of your hair journey. I love you.

🥰 danielle, i'm so happy for you! i'm also doing wash & go's all the time now. I love how low maintenance they are. I decided to get a professional curly cut so that I would be more likely to wear my hair out in that state. it was a fantastic decision. i found my stylist through the black curl magic directory. they argue that we don't need butters/oils, and that wash day doesn't have to take an eternity. i was tired of experimenting, and so many gals on youtube thrive with the simple style (you and NaturalReign come to mind). here's to lower hair product expenses, and maintaining a routine that works! 🥂

At last, I have found someone who accommodates my type of hair 😍. Been natural since 2012 but never seen any difference in my hair. So I kept cutting it😥. Now that I know it is possible for my type of 4C hair to be thick and grow, I can't wait to take this journey. So thankful to have found this platform🥰
