Also erm question, I'm convinced I have some extent of shrinkage and I'm also convinced I have low porosity hair so is that a bad thing or am I wrong about my hair porosity

thank you, happy to have you here brother, and no having low porosity hair isn’t a bad thing, it just means you hair will tend to need more moisture than most, so you have to be on top of keeping your hair moisturized and hydrated ,

Shrinkage means that ur hair is healthy and that’s a good thing. The methods he’s giving are fine, but doing them constantly is going to do more bad than good to ur hair. There is of course permanent fix to shrinkage, but I’ll cost you all your hair. So just learn to accept the shrinkage

you can grow it out and then get your hair trimmed to even it out, or you could start fresh

yeah , everyone’s hair has some sort of curl pattern to it so everyone can get shrinkage but you probably get a little to no shrinkage because of your hair type 🙌🏾
