i bought £1 books from poundland and they were WILD (jane eyre fanfic + spying in the locker room)

[ad] get 83% off surfshark + 3 extra months for free using JACKEDWARDS at surfshark.deals/jackedwards
so poundland sell books for £1 -- that's cheaper than buying second-hand! so, i put these books to the test and reviewed them, featuring jane eyre erotica and a girl who turns into a fly on the wall to spy on her boyfriend in the locker room...
[I just wanted to add that it's amazing that cheap books make literature more accessible, and Poundland has lots of absolute bargains! However, for books to be this heavily-discounted, there must be a reason they didn't sell well in the first place! Of course, there is absolutely no judgement here from me about people who buy cheap books -- I buy all of mine second-hand or from charity shops if I can!]

I just wanted to add that it's amazing that cheap books make literature more accessible, and Poundland has lots of absolute bargains! The Great Gatsby for £1?!?!?!? INCREDIBLE. They also had A LOT of children's books for £1 which is so great because it will allow so many more children to access books!! However, for most of these books to be this heavily-discounted, there must be a reason these editions didn't sell well in the first place! Of course, there is absolutely no judgement here from me about people who buy 'cheap' books -- I buy all of mine second-hand or from charity shops if I can!! I chose the most outrageous-sounding books for the purposes of a fun review video. Just wanted to clarify this before the video goes live

Seconding what Maria Sudermann said! There ought to be similar places in your country, even if said country does not have Dollar Tree or Poundland-type retail chains. The only thing you need to do is search for them! We don't have book bins in supermarkets where I'm from, but there are secondhand sellers, and those often have a book bin. I'd often find books on the cheap there, it's more than one euro per piece but not by much. If you don't have those, there are bookshops which specialize in secondhand books, or have a secondhand section you can dig into. And if all else fails, there's always the internet! A number of secondhand sellers use Amazon to survive these days; and sure, the shipping costs stack on top of your purchase, but the purchase itself isn't much, and you can find a variety of books at around one euro. Just be careful if you shop or order lately, as according to some studies COVID can take some time to disappear from surfaces. Read safe!- ^^

If you're thinking about making an other video like you did with Arabic Literature, I wanted to recommend some books from Turkish Literature. I'll put some extras in order to make sure you can find at least 5 of them in english or maybe you won't like the subjects of some. 1.Madonna in a Fur Coat or The Evil Inside Us by Sabahattin Ali (My favorite author ever) 2.The Disconnected by Oğuz Atay (The most left halfway through book in turkish literature) 3. One Cat, One Man, One Death or My Brother's Story by Zülfü Livaneli 4.Memed, My Hawk by Yaşar Kemal (The first book of the tetralogy) 5.Lying Down To Die by Adalet Ağaoğlu (The first book of the trinity) 6.The Time Regulation Institute by Ahmet Hamdi Tanpınar 7.Life's Good Brother by Nazım Hikmet (A Novel of the best poet of turkish literature) 8.Kinyas ve Kayra by Hakan Günday (Example for underground turkish literature) 9.The Black Book by Orhan Pamuk (first novelist who has earned the Nobel Literature Prime)
