My i20 key got drenched, the circuit seems to be fine but lock/unlock works only with distance less than a feet, any suggestions?

Change battery. If it fails then circuit needs to be changed

Search for i20/verna key shell replacement on amazon or flipkart, you can get the easily for around 500, and you can also search youtube for diy

U have to put the rubber pad firmly on the black frame without pasting it with glue and then snap the black frame with the rubber pad as one piece in to the key. Notice that u didnt have to adjust the fram with ur cutter u just have to snap it in place as it is without cutting. If you did a nice work you would hear everything clicking in its place correctly without glueing or cutting . Very bad work bro u damaged the key actually.

OMG this is terrible, would not call a repair at all, more like destroying the key fob. Wont last a year before it will fail to work
