Keep up with the oil maintenance and check that it doesn't lose any oil, keep the level up and you will be just fine..my other videos on these cars has to do with burning and losing oil and causing problems and dirty oil will cause the timing solenoids to get stuck..Thanks for watching and Merry Christmas

@@alyoungcuda thanks! The oil has not dropped at all and there’s no leaking or burning. Everything has been pretty good up to this point. That’s why your video is so valuable to me, I called the local auto parts store and that part is $14. Whew! We recently had to replace our air-conditioning for the third time. The first two times was under warranty. The third time there was no warranty and it cost just over $2000. I’m not a real happy guy with Hyundai.

It is simple but if you never ever did one before, you need to know your strength in tightening it and that also depends on the tool you use to do the job. Inexperienced diy people will cause more harm than good..remember that watching a few videos doesn't make you an expert mechanic, so be careful...and if you see oil in the connector, clean it out before you plug it back in as you can see others have done..

Common questions here, did you clean the connector, did you check the oil level? And I say this because in my other video the dipstick will make a brown stain that tricks you into thinking its full but its not. The next thing you can do is to rent for free an oil pressure gauge from autozone, screw it into the hole where the pressure switch was and check the actual pressure..almost like taking a blood pressure test on the engine..2nd, how old is the oil, might need an oil and filter change if its dirty. Hopefully its not a bad engine for which they are known for. Good luck

I thought this was a good video until I followed your instructions exactly. I was trying to save my girlfriend a bill when I saw how easy this fix was. That was until i turned the oil pressure switch until it got "nice and tight" as you said. But somehow the engine got a serious crack in it above the oil pressure switch. I could not believe it!! When it was all said and done.... the bill to have a mechanic to replace the upper oil pan - that is where the oil pressure goes into.... the cost to pay someone to fix it was 1350.00 dollars!! Another shop quoted me 2500 dollars!! My girlfriend almost had a nervous breakdown when I told her we might have to replace the engine. Because on many models of cars that would be the whole engine block that would crack. The engine would have to be replaced. All I will say is I thought of subpoena you through KZread for really causing the damage to fail to warn about how the engine can get damaged. You really need to have those kind of warnings in your videos. Preferable with Red lettering over your actual videos. Wherever serious damage could occur in these videos you make. You know what Al baby, I think I would have good case in court to sue you.

Well im confused reading these comments, I have a 2013 hyundai elantra. When I do an oil change on my car the oil like flicker problem will go away for around 500-800miles then it will start happening again, if I keep driving it with the light flicking the car will randomly shut off. The light only really flickers at low rpm but once im going faster then 40mph it doesnt seem to happen anymore. Its been like this for a year and I have just been switching the oil every 500miles to prevent the light and any damage. do you have any solutions or idea what this could be?
