awesome, glad to hear we are doing a good job
I've said it before and I'll say it again but I love these video because all the information they contain. And on a side note that hydro-boost unit looks a lot like the 03 to 07 ford super duty hydro-boost unit and if so that's a great platform stock so I can't imagine how good it is after porting. Again thank you for making these videos👊👊

Thanks. The porting makes it able to keep up with the higher flow PSC style pumps

@@zachmosteller4681 they are similar but not from a Ford F250
Must have missed it in the video but what if I don’t have Power Steering? Can I cap that exit hole on the HB or does it need to have a return to the tank? Sorry if that was covered already.
Interesting. I bought a full hydro-boost system from a very reputable company and after watching this video I have some concerns. 1) My system came with the ports facing downward in relation to the master cylinder right out of the box as well as the instructional manual. 2) The system came with a brass "T" fitting, which I was a bit reluctant to use. 3) The return port on my hydroboost unit is not a small port, but appears to have been changed to a fitting larger than yours. I'm in the process of bleeding the system now.
I just went to the linked store page. Did I miss the $850 system? There only seems to be $899, $949. Also can these be mounted to the fire wall. it looks like there are only bolt holes on top and small slots on front.
hello. I am having issues with bubbles and noise. can I set up a call
Hi guys what is the part number for the master cylinder? Looking for a master for my 2011 Silverado . Craig
Cool setup! So, how would I figure out bore size and brake fluid volume for my 65 4x4 with a high pinion dual piston caliper Dana 44 in the front and the Dana 60 rear will be disc brake swapped also. thanks!

Can you run this without power steering and plug the port that would go to the steering box?

Good question. So you would run a power steering pump (without a power steering box) and run the lines directly to the hydroboost only. I would think it would work.
Do you need a powersteering cooler when adding hydro boost?

it isn't a bad idea
HI Guys, Do you need to use a propostional valve with this setup. I have disc front and drum brakes. Thanks

we don't use them, if this is for an on road vehicle it might be a good idea.

Hi you need a residual pressure valve on your rear brake line to hold line pressure to keep the return springs from retracting your shoes. You will lose pedal feel and most likely have to pump the pedal to get a good pedal feel otherwise. Its always a good idea to use a proportioning valve in the rear line to balance the brakes especially if you’ve removed the factory valve and even if it still has one. It is imperative with rear drums without the factory valve as you will lock the rear drums every time you brake.

@@BustedKnuckleOffRoad you guys give terrible advice and shouldnt be selling brake kits if you cant even answer the guys question correctly. Yes he will need a valve with rear drums especially if there isnt a factory proportioning valve in the system. Without the valve the rear drums will lock up every time he brakes.
How much does it cost for this unit please

Close enough! I mean we shot it on Tuesday….
You match the bore of the master cylinder to the calipers you currently have. This guy has no idea what he is talking about telling you you need to change your calipers. You also have to take into consideration how the leverage on your brake pedal is set up which would most likely need to be changed if the vehicle had manual brakes. Does the kit come with a residual pressure valve option for rear drums? What about a proportioning valve for balancing the brakes?

These are answers to frequently asked questions for our kits. Trey is a brake guru and has helped out tons of customers. We also sell disc brake conversions to get rid of drum brakes.
