I like your idea of going strictly budget because it's a great way to have a comparison. I don't like the "external" fuse or lack of a fuse rating. Like you said, you can always upgrade later.

Doesn't do rated power. Using a 150amp fuse diy audio guy tested the amp and it did around 1267 at 1ohm and 1400 at clipping

It would be one amp per sub easily. With box rise alone, these amps suffer a lot of power loss because they're not super efficient. It would be a pretty OK match with 1 amp per sub at 1ohm but for way less than the price of four of these amps, you can buy a single 8k smart amp and run everything from one amp only (and save money). Would still make for an interesting and still probably very decent build, but would suffer in the long run I suspect especially if the Hyanka subs get replaced with something even tougher.

That Treo SSX Board been going hard for a long time. It’s the design Audiopipe uses for the AP1500. Power hungry but good amp at the end of the day 💪🏽

Damn if HYANKA amp actually does rated power that would be awesome. Alot of people can step up there game on a budget which is awesome.

I would do what makes more sense for your budget. I myself would do it just to prove you don't need the big name brands to get loud. Still love this build. Been following it from the start.

@BassAddict91 yes sir. That's why I went with an off brand build with my four 8s. I think it sounds great. Have had multiple compliments on it. Can't wait to see you get 2 of them amps and run the 4 15s.

He uses the SMD audio multimeter (AMM-1). They're not the cheapest tool in the toolbox but worth every cent if you want to know for sure what's going on with your system!

The AMM-1 cost $450 which is pricey. A cheaper alternative is the bass head garage watt meter at $80.

it's a dyno and diy don't have full power this amp say it cab take 16v so iam guess if u cand send close to 16 it would do it. and it was @13.5 13.2 not bad especially if u have stock electrical amp also can be ran @16volt like isaid if you could get over 13 volts think it would do it . this also applies top better amps if u not getting the proper volts you're going to clip premature and with in real world ppl say amp not doing nothing and find out they getting 13.5 13.8 14volts and amp can run at 16 so some preformance is left out. we gotta remember that if u trying to run a true 3k you not go get all power with stock just not

They look similar on the inside as far as two transformers and one inductor, but they are arranged completely differently. It's obviously not a clone of the Skar.

​@@scamchanThere are pictures of the RP 1500 internals online. Compare those to this Hyanka. All the parts are switched around and rearranged. Look at where the main power and ground come in at. Look at where the speaker connections are. Look at the different controls on the preamp section. It's kind of like saying a Ford and a Chevy truck are identical because they both have an engine up front, a bed and four wheels. You have to look closer at the layout and what's going on. The most logical explanation is that both of these designs are based off an older, common amplifier design. Skar decided to arrange their circuit board in their particular way and Hyanka chose to arrange it in a different way. This is something I see all the time in amplifier designs. Sometimes two brands will be very, very similar where it really does look identical. Then you have to go in there with a magnifying glass and look very closely at the components used and the construction methods. Sometimes you do find that they are built by the same build house and sometimes you find that one was built by a different company but they tried really hard clone it exactly.

A similar thing happens with subwoofers, too. You can have two subs that look virtually identical but they will have different electrical and mechanical properties. Some of the components may actually be the same because they come from the same source, but they sound different and perform different. These are harder to spot the differences because you can't see the internal motor design, the coil details or the tolerances in the parts. So you should always use an abundance of caution and look things over very carefully before declaring that one thing is identical to another. On rare occasions it may be identical, but 95% of the time it's different. 👍

Sir you want a budget banger get you a Topstronggear 1500.1 monoblock. Pretty sure they do close to rated. Or go for it's big brother, the Recoil Dii3300.1D that you can get from Patrick over at Robot Underground. I paid $225 or so for it. It pounds
