I know some don't care for the size of the M13 but the form factor and ease of use is excellent. If it had all the new sounds and horsepower win win! Even the access to the Looper while still being able to access effects on the top rows was a game changer for me .

So I run it through my 6505 effects loop and run this through my guitars signal chain to the front of the amp? Sorry I’m new to this

Hey line 6, or any hx owners, while in stomp mode is there a way to switch from the 6 effects to another 6 effects and then again, ect? Not talking bout preset mode at all. Also each effect whether in stomp or preset can be assigned post or pre overdrive routing even if my gain comes from separate analog pedals?

In the preset mode is there a way to use the buttons as turn off/on when clicking? I’m using it on my pedalboard and I can’t have it on all the time ya know

Plugging into output left mono straight into a PA works correct? just the same as plugging into an amp?

I have a DT25 combo amp. Wish is best for my amp the HD POD500 X or this one? Thanks.

Are there any IR's available for the HX that allows you to use your ELECTRIC GUITAR as an ACOUSTIC??? Or......any updates that will give the HX an Acoustic Simulator??? I'm the Lead Guitar player in an Acoustic Duo and dangit, I'd love to strap on my Jackson or Strat and play Leads EASIER on an Electric than on an Acoustic!!! Thank you......Lovin' the HX.....Love it EVEN MORE if it would make my Electric sound Acoustic!!!

Does the Bank up and down still works when you are in snapshots?

I use the 4 cable method. When I bypass the hx effects by pressing the mode and tap buttons my signal gets routed to the FX loop. Is there a global routing config that can be configured even when I bypass the until this way?

I have some questions: Ok, I'm just a noob when it comes to Line6, but I'm thinking of replacing 80% of my board for this. Can some HX-owners help me? Is it possible to use have presets of the pedalboard mode? For instance, using different delay types for different songs (songs as a preset of pedalboard) and still being able to just turn one of or on? I read some stuff about IR's for acoustics too, but I also read that the digital tweaking isn't up and running yet. (How) does that work? I like the loops, but I intend on using this with the 4 cable method (I mostly use gain from my amp). Can it (like my strymon mobius) also be set up that the stereo in/out switches to pre- and post? What EXP pedal is recommended with an HX?

If I am using 2 amps and I run them directly out of the L&R outs of the HX Effects, will I have to worry about phase issues or can the HX combat that?

A ground lift will take away hum / noise -You probably heard of them - Its a three to two prong ac plug thing -cost 50 cents use it on 1 amp a.c plug only , it usually takes the noise away , Ive never encountered phase issues - I've been running stereo with M -13 a long long time . & now HX . NightClub stages with bad elctrical conditions can mess with equipment .

Can I run let´s say multiple delays or reverbs or any same effects at the same time or just one delay one reverb one mod one dist...? Thanks

Danny Pulleyn yes it is by using the four cable method. I did this with my Line 6 M13 into my Marshall JVM 410H. You can assign some effects to the front of the amp and some to the effects loop.

I have helix hx am trying to update it...I use usb cable from helix to my laptop, I've clicked line6 update on laptop and it doesn't find or connect to the helix

I create tracks all day... and used to use Pod Farm 2 to go thru hundreds of cool presets looking for inspiration for the next part I was tracking. There were so many cool fx chains (and song/artist styles) people made to download free, so there were hundreds of tones/sounds I would have never dialed in that I could use. Now I'd like to add something on my studio pedalboard ...to add that kind of variety of pre-made flavors I could use for my recordings. Does the HX Effect allow me to load up a bunch of presets like that... and do they still offer a forum to find & download for HX Effects? I use a Kemper for most amp tones now so that part is not needed. Thanks!

If you load a cabinet impulse into it, which is supports, yes, you can go straight into the PA. You'll still need an amp, though. This doesn't have any amps or cabs.

Every other time I turn it on something my setting have changed in weird ways.FE the "BANK: display covers over the 2 effects switches on the left I programmed/saved on those 2 switches...how access them now?My delay now has an aditional odd time repeat added...I cannot get a simple delay on it now no matter what I do.With a couple accidental bumps of the switches it's very easy to blow up your settings,you have to know this thing very well(IE spend lots of time learnign it) in order just maintain normal use of it.Of course Line6 offers no help.I cannot login for support for some reason.I'm instructed to get a ticket but i cannot with out logging in first.The phone line is an automated dead end loop with no human on the line.The worst customer support of any company I've dealt with.The worst.Beware of Line6.

David Burleigh well it’s not that’s it’s that complicated but they came out with the line6 amp the dt25 and all the hdseries with the line6 link. Right after, they came out with this. No line6 link. That’s brilliant. Why?!! The Helix is harder to figure out than the kemper. And why make it that u must use a computer? We’re guitarists not computer geeks. I want to plug in and play. And sorry it’s not sounding as good as a tube amp and a good pedal. Yes there are a few pros using the Helix but I think they’re only using the FX. Not sure. They, being line6 has some work to do.

​@@uriteimwrong7317 Sure, your post was written a year ago, but the amount of misinformation in your post is... impressive. 1. HX Effects came out *8 years* after DT and HD500, not right after. 2. L6 LINK wouldn't apply to this product and you're the first person ever to imply it should. 3. Nearly everyone insists Helix is easier to use than Kemper. 4. None of the Helix/HX products require a computer; they're all plug-and-play. 5. Lots of touring pros are using Helix/HX for amps, cabs, and effects.

The sound of the videos is not good
