Good 🌄 Lumnah Family from Texas. I started my compost pile for the first time ever this week in preparation for my garden next year. I'll be building raised beds over the winter. I also plan to get chicks in the spring. I live in town but have 3/4 of and acre back yard so I decided to homestead a little in town. Im so excited and so is my youngest (14 yr old) only one left at home. You'll have been such an inspiration to me!

Al will you be planning doors for the two bays? Two reasons, blowing snow drifts and security agains humans and animals. With that blank space you could put two tracks up for hanging sliding barn doors and store them on the left side until needed. Won’t need clearing to much snow if at all so close to the barn. I love when you do improvements to the homestead. Good food, good work. Bless you all.

Well I don't know for sure, but on the home ranch in Montana we had about 7-8 cats because we raised wheat and barley, and mice like those grains. Anyway, cats would catch a mouse and not kill it right away, they would "play with their food" then kill it after playing with it for a while. Do not know if that was the case with that Chipmunk, but I have my suspicions.

By the by, thanks for introducing me to The Talbott Brothers! I sent a link to "The Coming Days" to a couple of my musician friends from church, and they want to do it for an offertory now.

Good morning everyone! Getting closer to getting the new building dried in before the first signs of winter hitting NH! The problem of being early there aren't very many comments to read while AL is ending the vlog 🙄😳🤓😎😉 it's a beautiful 74 deg. heading to about 105 deg. Today in beautiful Utah, weather changes fast here, ! Mr. Figaro was just proving he is the best Hunter on the homestead! He don't need no trail cam! He was showing you he caught Chip or was it Dale? You didn't stick around long enough to see! Getting close to freezer camp? Reservations all completed? That Dewalt drill been sitting out in the back corner on what I'm assuming is the hog "resting" 🛀 contraption? Since last fall? Looks pretty sun faded! May it RIP! 😳🙄😉😎

Almost there, I think you might have missed a bird board on the front between the 2-3 rafters on the end that's still open since it looks like it's not there in part of the video. It's likely that the drone might have clipped a branch near where it fell and lost a blade then struck the lift as it went down since the cameras debris was on it not the ground where it was found. Greetings from Denver today and were in the 80s during the day here yet about two weeks ago it snowed and many who haven't lived here that long were surprised but that's the Colorado old timers know is part/parcel of living a Mile High.

Gina has made huge strides in heights since the barn build... don't say plenty of room Gina ... you still need Greenhouse/garden storage. Lol Kind of like fajita quesadillas... That skillet that you cooked the onion and peppers in would make a perfect weight for those quesadillas.... Olivia needs to make us pasta! Lol ☮
