I just took enbrel last tuesday and for the first time in years I was pain free for 5 days. I have lupus that has given me RA and i would dread waking up and depressed to the point of wanting to give up. Listen we are all going to die, i would rather live the rest of my days to the fullest pain free and be the best mom I can be than be in the bed in pain. I just want my life back. Do not listen to people saying it killed someone they know. If I don't get the inflammation down I will die anyways.

Thank You!!!! Very! Very! Much. Because I have RA, type 2 diabetes, a bad back and shoulder due to an injury. And my RAS prescribed me “methotrexate, prednisone, and sulfasalazine. For it at first. Then she saw that it wasn’t doing my arthritis any justice especially, the prednisone because “of course those are steroids and they can be dangerous if taken for long periods of time. They can actually damage your nerves and joints.” So she D/C the prednisone slowly, and the sulfasalazine but cont’d the methotrexate and put me on Enbrel 50 mg once a wk. But I have had it now for almost, if not! Two weeks now in my refrigerator and I’m so afraid to use it. My mind is telling me not take it but this excruciating daily pain is telling me to take it. And the only reasons that are keeping me from taking it is the fact that one of the side effects of taking it is that it may cause “DEATH!” And I have a lot to live for and I am just not ready to DIE YET!!!! ❤❤❤

@YOUPEOPLE-h5n I was scared too for years. I did parasite cleanses and herbal supplements and changed my diet, and not a GD thing worked. I am on week two of the shot, and I have a little pain here and there in my hands, but it is nothing compared to having to literally roll out of bed and walk hunched over at 42. Embrel has been out for a while. It has a 78% success rate. I refused to read the bad side effects and read only the reviews the ones of success, and I am so glad I did. I cried after the first week because I woke up able to drive and actually enjoy it again while jamming my music! I love to sing, and it got to the point that my ribs hurt so bad I couldn't take deep breaths to sing. I am 42, not 92, and I have a 13-year-old son. Listen, like I said before, we are going to die, all of us.. why not live now pain-free and not worry about the future. We are not living while being in pain. I hope my story helps you. This was not an easy choice for me. It took me 4 years to make it, but now I wish I had done it sooner.

I don’t know how much you keep up with the older video comments, but it’s worth a shot. Lol. Do you have experience with the differences between the Humira Pen and the Enbrel Sureclick by any chance, I’m hoping they’re basically the same, like not the medicine, but how the pens work.

Hi! I don't have personal experience with the Enbrel pens as a patient and it's been a while since I've worked in rheumatology so I' not sure. There are differences but I don't remember specifics.

I'm curious why you are looping them together. Is it just because they are the same class of biologics or because they are very similar in mechanism of action? My rheumy was thinking about switching me from Humira to Enbrel so this had me wondering. If they are that similar, just a different frequency, that would be good. If they had different mechanisms, I'd be more hesitant.

Tried… yes! (I thought it was just me). I have only had 2 doses, & I started Enbrel 2 weeks ago. Yesterday afternoon I had my shot . All day today, especially this evening. I have felt so tired and out of sorts… slightly depressed even. I hope it’s just from the injection and that it levels out. Really needing something to work. My inflammation is so high that It’s starting to affect my heart! 😞 Side effects that I have noticed; tiredness, sore throat/drainage, and urine retention. (Could be coincidental, but definitely started at the same time as I started the Enbrel. I know this video is from two years ago. But I really appreciate the information.!

I take it every week on Friday and I feel so tired. But I have a very important question: why do I feel very sick after eating pork the day of the shot? I take it for psoriasis and psoriasic arthritis (I have a very bad case) and I also take 5mg Methotrexate with it.

I have tried going carnivore, going keto, fasting a day or two. They really do help a lot. I have just struggled to stick to it. I just got prescribed Humira for PA, and the box just came today. I put it in the refrigerator. But I don't think I can put it in my body. Plus it's $6,000 + per month for the medicine, the highest profiting medicine of all time I saw in another video. I am at the threshold of I don't know what. I feel I just need to keep aiming for better self discipline, because diet and fasting has huge potential.
