As a big fan of Hugh Jackman, it's very sad and shocking for me. Hollywood is not a good example when it comes to marriages or relationships. But Hugh is one of the rare male celebrities who didn't engage in any kind of random casual relationships or adultery in his entire career despite being so famous and successful (and I respect him for that). They have been together for the last 27 years, so I always thought that their marriage was unique and genuine, and not like everyone else's. But man 😢💔

But the amount of people I personally know who have left good partners because they were "boring" and "I don't know, just not the same" is truly insane-and the reality is usually that they found someone more attractive, or they want to party like they used to, or earn more money now, or just don't want to fulfill their marital/parental duties 24/7. And I know they had good partners because they usually want to cry on my shoulder long after it's over. I'm not sure they even love(d) that person, but they long for what they had.

Am I dreaming? They broken up and this feels devastating to Hugh Jackman.

So shocked by this announcement! They were a great couple who loved each other so much! They were all for each other. Loved that about them!

People change.....that's life. NOTHING is guaranteed so enjoy the time you have in the present.

We only see what the camera records, so it could be totally different behind closed doors. One could be a narcissist while the other has to put up with them for so long. Just because they’re glamorized as a long term couple doesn’t mean it’s true. Best of luck to them.

@@patrickbatman141 Not all relationships are meant to last “FOREVER” or until death-do-us-part. People grow, sometimes apart, and change over the years. Is it impossible for a couple to remain together until the bitter end? Not necessarily, but there has to be genuine mutual affection and RESPECT!

So sad people view marriage as a contract and not a covenant. People don’t understand anymore what “til death do us part” means in marriage . Marriage is of course hard but not impossible to last for a lifetime. Now with most marriages, it’s no longer “ We ” but “I “ .. With vows it should’ve said “til I decide I want to focus on me” 😢 because that seems to be the common reason for most divorces now a days.

I hope this whole thing is a hoax, it would be so sad to see them split after seeming so good together for that long time 😔😢

*The vows state that you stay together until you die. You can still grow personally within a marriage (unless you want to be with other people). Well, we all get older than 30 or 40. Back in the days when marriage was invented, people died earlier. But what is always important: Raising the kids together and be good parents. Marriage is not necessary for it, its a romantic ideal.
