I'm fed up of people saying he's gay. So he married someone a lot older than him. So he was super hot and she looked like a dolphin. So they adopted kids. So he likes to sing and dance. So he works out and likes muscles. So he has lots of female friends who all love him. None of this makes him gay. It just means he's socially unconforming. Now leave him alone and let Deb have a good shave.

kinda shows that no one can be together 24/7, pandemic took their relationship to a toll... they were a good couple

They were such a beautiful couple, but I wish the best for them both!

Some grow apart and some stay together. But to grow you need to make the right decision. Let’s respect them. I wish them both a great life apart. They are good people.

Anymore? Did they ever stay together in Hollywood? Even back when divorce was taboo in the 1940s, etc, Hollywood couples didn't stay together. They always had multiple divorces, the men usually fathered dozens of kids with different women, etc. Clint Eastwood, John Wayne, Sean Connery, etc.

Marriage isn’t always sunshine and happiness. It’s not practical to think that way. Sometimes it’s hard. Sometimes you want to leave. But if you really want it to work out you don’t quit because it’s boring. Find a way to get the spark back.

The age difference would've been more of a problem when they were younger. 27 & 40 is a bigger gulf (in terms of life stages, etc) than 55 & 68.

Family obviously isn't their first priority, since they're divorcing.

She was (relatively) old when they got together. Most 27-year-olds don't get with 40-year-olds, they're not interested in each other.

Their age difference isn't that bad. He's 55 and she's 68. Take a look at David Foster and Katherine McPhee; he's 74 and she's 39; that's a 35 year age difference compared to Hugh and his wife which is only 13 years. Mick Jagger is 80 and his partner Melanie Hamrick is 36; that's 44 years difference.

@@valerieking5265 But much more common for men to prefer younger. Just a fact. And yes, these "ridiculous" age gaps only seem to occur with rich men. I guess they know the bargain they are making. Obviously no young woman is truly in love with their 80 year old ass.

@@debbielockhart7762 Even though it's not as common, I have noticed a trend where if the woman is older, the relationship/marriage tends to last longer than vice versa. Not just in celebs (off the top of my head Hugh Jackman, Brock Lesnar, Chris Hemsworth) but in real life. Women are usually reluctant to date younger men, even (or maybe especially) if they're attractive/successful. There's more of a stigma with it and they're insecure about it, but the thing is, a man who pursues an older woman isn't a man who's fixated on youth. Either older is just his physical type anyway or he's fallen for her for non-superficial reasons. An older man who persues younger women (especially considerably younger women) obviously is. But guess what? No matter the age gap, the woman will get older. She isn't going to be 21 forever, and he isn't going to not notice her aging just because he's older himself. I wonder how many of Leonardo DiCaprio's model girlfriends are stupid enough to think they'll be the exception to his 'under 25s only' rule?

The only thing that ever disturbed me about her, well two things, what's her messy uncombed hair and that weird way she smiles with her tongue sticking out. I wish them both all the best in the future.
